The check-in was at 21:00 pm and I called at 20:30 when I discovered that I would be late. My arrival would be at 21:30. On the hotels website it said that you could call them if you'll be late.
The woman who answered (never got her name) was very rude and was very busy because it was her birthday. She had never heard of our reservation, and had no confirmation of that. I read the bookingnumber and she denied it. I had booked a familyroom and she said that they do not even have any family rooms at all. She offered a private apartment a few minutes from the hotel and I got a detailed description of "where the key was (under the carpet outside the front door), what code it was up to the apartment and that we can't disturbed the neighbors". She also wanted to double the price of the room compared to my booking confirmation, and that I must be silent about what we had been talking about and not call her back to disturb her. She was threatening and gave no good impression at all. She also said that I must write a good review on hotels.com. How awful!??
Me and my friends didn't go to the private apartment and luckily we found a new hotel. The day after I called hotels.com customerservice and they were very helpful.
I advise everyone from choosing this hotel because you will face a nightmare. They are trying to fool you. I really hope hotels.com remove this hotel from their website.
