Maryia was an attentive host who gave us pointers on good entertainment spots around the area. The house had discrepancies that weren't visible in the online photos. There seems to have been water damage to the ceiling in one of the rooms and in the hallway. There was also an exposed pipe of some sort upstairs on the hallway wall that looked like it was on it's way to falling. The upstairs bathroom was nice, but the tub drain was slow and broken towel rack. The downstairs bathroom was nice, but where a mirror should be in front of the sink was just a window. We had to by deodorizer because the house smelled "old" and stuffy. It gets pitch black at night with really no street lights so if you had to go outside at night, you would need a flashlight, because there are also no outdoor lights located on the property. Unfortunately, there were roaches in the kitchen. It didn't seem like an infestation, because it was 3, but it's disheartening to pay for a stay and see roaches (not water bugs, cockroaches). The wall unit hvac systems were tricky to use and kept turning off when we tried to use them the first night, so the first night I wasn't able to sleep because I was hot. Maryia came to help us with them though. There was a nice faux fire place in the living room. I didn’t realize the area was so rural, so if you're looking for peace and quiet, you would like this house. I wish I had better things to say, because the hostess really was nice.
