Everything from the furniture to the kitchen appliances was of high quality and thoughtfully chosen. The location is excellent – quiet yet close to the center, with easy access to both the mountains and local amenities. "We came by car to Grindelwald to see Eiger and take the cable car to Eigergletscher. For this purpose, the lodge was excellent! We saw the big north face of Eiger through our window, and sitting on the roof of the adjacent Grill Bar and having a beer while watching the mountains was just amazing. The lodge is basic but in great shape. Checkin and parking was very convenient and breakfast was good. "
