“A beautiful shiny new hotel with well thought through design and such aesthetic decor. The staff were helpful and went out of their way to make sure we had a pleasant stay. The roof top bar was a definite plus, with fab views, it just made the weekend for me and my friend who had a long overdue catch up. So close to the station, an easy weekend away.”

Communication before arrival excellent. We weren't able to use the spa bath as the plumbing currently needs re-doing to prevent leaks and there is no shelf to put the toiletries in the bathroom. “The room was adequate for our overnight stay. The shower was really good and all the basic usual were there. The welcome from Nadine was excellent as well as the rest of the staff. We really enjoyed the breakfast, thank you Chef. Overall the Linden Tree is a good, basic stopover, especially if staying overnight after watching the Cherry and Whites.”

“The room was very clean , comfortable bed and crisp white linen and towels. Lots of hot water for a nice hot bath . The lady on reception was very friendly and welcoming. We arrived late in the evening so didn't drink in the bar. The breakfast was brilliant, good quality produce and good coffee. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and attentive.
