“As a road warrior over decades, I have seen good and bad, but I have rarely seen the attentiveness of the staff such as here at the Grand Resort. Always pleasant but exceptionally helpful. I had an emergency shoe repair needed for my only dress pair, and it was late on a Sunday when it was identified. The staff worked out where to get glue, sent a courier, and within an hour it was repaired. Incredible! I have literally never seen anything like it. The next day my meeting ran late, and...

“The property was beautiful. The staff were helpful and friendly. The cuisine was delicious. And the 10 minute proximity to the airport was great.”

“The staff is friendly most of the time. The best person was Daisi, kitchen area and the morning chef, Mr. Ellis and Daisi always had an smile on her face and make me feel at home. The place is beautiful very clean, needs new furniture but everything was very nice, we will go back when we can. David was very nice too.”

I was taken care of like part of the family. Deborah is a very warm and nice lady. Also, she took care of my 65 birthday. I strongly encourage people to stay at Ambassador Terrace. Cheers”

“I didn't like that they only provided coffee for the first day. And the rest if time I had to purchase. Which I didn't do.”

“The location is great, close to the busy and cool centre but not too close for it to be quite and calm. The room was not in great shape though, it was leaking water from so many spots in the room, the aircon was leaking, the shower leaked so that we had water all over and from outside, water came in. They were out of almost everything for breakfast. Would recommend this place if you are just passkng through for one night, not more.”

“Great rooms and service, especially the front desk. The TV did not show all the channels. The room was noisy during the day as hotel construction was taking place.”

“When I checked in I was given a different room than I booked. The room was nicer than my original room but did not have the kitchenette I was planning on using so that complicated things a bit. Also the rooftop terrace was not in the same condition that was shown online and after around 4pm each day I could not access it as I did not usage a key that would work. The shower and tub also did not have hot water.”

The pictures on there website is misleading an not true the place is run down and not finished at all the pool area is nasty an under construction the room a not up to standard an they need work the water is not hot! The rooms are hot because the ac doesn’t stay on my wife was mad at me because I booked it. Don’t go to this place”

“Really friendly staff, took me out fishing by the hotel dock. Super nice small cottages to stay in with garden pool just outside. Perfect location and a great place to stay at if you’re visiting belize city! ”

“Room was basic but OK, aircon working fine. Location convenient for going to International Airport and short taxi drive from the City Airport. The only odd thing was that after dark, the ground floor where I stayed got invaded by lots of quite large ants and in the morning they seemed to have all died on the floor.”
