VÀldigt smal vÀg fram till hotellet men vÀl dÀr fick vi tillgÄng till en parkering en bit dÀrifrÄn.
Frukostmatsalen var vĂ€ldigt fin med frukost som tillagas pĂ„ bestĂ€llning. Vi stannade i tre nĂ€tter och hade Fowey som utgĂ„ngspunkt nĂ€r vi reste runt i Cornwall. â
âRestaurangen och personalen var verkligen den stora behĂ„llningen! Musslorna var fantastiska och frukosten den mest vĂ€lsmakande jag fĂ„tt i England! Rummet var litet och med lutande golv/sĂ€ng. Bra badrum. Tyst och lugnt trots pub- och stadslĂ€ge. Ă terkommer gĂ€rna!â
âThis was the second time there for me and I found what I was expecting: very kind and friendly staff(Becky and Diane), cosy and clean room, delicious breakfast and the location perfect a few minutes from the bus stop and the harbourâ

âWe booked a family suite which is lovely - very modern and tastefully decorated. A lovely tea/coffee area and bottles of water weee supplied. Both bedrooms have patio doors opening out onto outside area. The views are amazing and it is just so peaceful and quiet. Breakfast was amazing - THE BEST bacon!! Would highly recommend this place - ideal for walkers. â
âI booked two nights for myself and my 12 yr old daughter. I was looking for somewhere with a bit of character, that was away from all the noise and bustle, had a good breakfast to set us up for the day and food available in the evening. I was not disappointed. The Weary Friar was such a great little find, a proper country pub with great food (nothing too fancy), friendly staff and peace and quiet to wake up to. Will definitely head there again!â
âLovely B&B. We were extremely pleased with our stay here. We were in a cozy double room with an en-suite. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The couple running the hotel were friendly and exceptionally hospitable. The included full English breakfast is fantastic. Would absolutely recommend to anyone thinking of staying here. The value for money is fantastic. It is a perfect location to explore Cornwall!â
âWe've come out for my 30th had a meal in the restaurant. The staff were lovely the food delicious and they even sang to me for my birthday ! Our check in was fab they were very laid back as we were worried about timings because we had a gin tasting event we were going to first. The staff put us as ease when we spoke to them. We did get confused where to park so parked up the road instead of the car park as our satnav took us to the wrong side of the building. How ever the car is fine parked...

The hosts are ultra welcoming and friendly. And gave me some great tips on places to visit, including nearby scenic walks.
Plus Simon cooks a top English breakfast and Paula does a great job of keeping the place in order.
They allow dogs, although best to check with them before booking to make sure they will get on with their dogs ok.
The nearby road is noisy early morning, but only if you keep the window fully open.â
âAll of the staff were very friendly, yet professional. When I rang to say that it was my friendâs birthday, Maisie was able to recommend some lovely lunch venues. And, when we arrived she, and the other staff wished us a happy stay, and they had decorated the room for my friend. They made our stay special!â
