“Everything was very good at the hotel with the exception of the there was a terrible sewer smell when we arrived on Friday afternoon on the first floor entry from the parking area and again on the 4th floor going to our room. Seemed not to be as bad on Saturday but did notice it again strong this morning. The carpet on the 4th floor on the way to our room was very dated and dirty looking. “Rooms have truly terrible noise problems. Impossible to sleep. Had to change in the middle of the night first night. Second night wasn’t much better. Some amenities are ok but nothing special and the so called pool is kind of a joke. Restaurant is great but that’s sadly where the fun stops. We’d eat there any day but would never stay again.”

“Very nice hotel ! Close to downtown Stamford and trainstation . Perfect room . Good breakfast . Very nice staff especially the two ladies in the reception , Rachel and Tanjee ! Everything was perfect .”

“I was provided a renovated room by the front counter attendant. A/C worked, sheets and pillows were clean. Bathroom clean. So room was the best it could be. That said, lipstick on a pig is still a pig. The 'motor inn' is a dump. But what do you expect for $74/85? Absolutely zero amenities. No breakfast. OK if you're just passing thru.”

“Make sure you download the contactless info to get into the room before you get there. You have to call for the wifi, there's no service in that location. It's not ideal. There was construction outside all night long - very loud. And, you can hear everything in every room around...people were partying loudly all night long. Parking is an issue early because of the restaurant.”

“Stayed quickly on our way to elsewhere. Neighborhood has shops with a Whole Foods nearby and a CVS next door. Breakfast was surprisingly nice for an Econolodge. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms could use some sprucing up, but for the price, was very reasonable.”
