Hi Tamsin, So glad the home worked well for you. Definitely something to consider if you have some beginner skiers is just buy the Catamount lift pass as the gondola and stairway chair are all intermediate runs (except one run from the top of gondola that is barely a green). Gabriel Higham

As noted in the confirmation letter we are happy to accommodate earlier check-in and later check-out requests as long as there isn't a guest the same day of check-in or check-out. If you had requested different times we would have been more than happy to accommodate. I'm sorry that that impacted your experience of the place especially since it could have been avoided. But I think the review will help others know to be sure to request earlier and later times.

Hi Michel, Thank you for the review. Sorry that you experienced difficulty in the ski-in/ski-out. I'm wondering if perhaps you took a wrong run to the ski-in or ski-out? As you can see from the ski-in/ski-out video on the listing (3rd picture) the ski-in/ski-out is pretty easy. A very inexperienced skier couldn't do it but most other skiers shouldn't find it hard. Hi John, Obviously not the experience we hope guests have. Unfortunately your stay occurred just before the new furniture and dishwasher were installed (literally the day after you left). We also replaced the grill with a brand new Weber Genesis II E-410. We made our best effort to replace them as quickly as possible but Golden doesn't have those things in stock and it takes some time to get them in. In late season the ski-out may not be as good since the snow is melted off the sides of the road which means you cannot ski along it out of the neighborhood. But in that case it is about a 50 meter walk to connect to the ski-out trail. However I was able to ski-out on Wednesday when snow covered the road. I hope that you will consider trying the home again. Gabriel Higham

We did try to simplify the TV setup once by using a universal remote but immediately got inundated with calls from people who couldn't figure it out so we went back to complicated. Thank you so much for the detailed review. Yes, the bed in the office area is a day bed that can convert to a king bed. Hope to have you back again.

We always try to provide the best possible guest experience and we fell very short with your group. There was a mix-up with the cleaning and so the housekeeper did not realize the home was getting guests after the previous guests checked out that morning. We tried to address it as quickly as possible by having the housekeeper come up immediately and at least get it so you could get to sleep after such a long day but we totally understand that couldn't address the disappointment. When you reported mice we immediately got traps over - thank you for being so gracious as to let them be placed in the home during your stay. Immediately after you left we got Orkin Canada out to do an extermination and monthly treatments and we have not had anymore mice sightings. Regarding the pool table, I wish we would have been aware of this issue during your stay as we could have addressed it. The table is a 2-in-1 table and the air hockey table is below the ping pong table top. And we have extra paddles, balls, strikers and pucks we could have put out. We have put out a set of instructions downstairs in addition to the house instructions to help future guests. I am truly sorry that the experience we provided was not to your or our standards. Hopefully the refund helped somewhat with that. Again - we do appreciate your business and apologize we didn't deliver. Gabriel Higham
