Kicking Horse Cabin Retreat

Notera sommaraktiviteter inkluderar gondol till toppen av berget för vandring och mountainbike, samt stollyftning till "Grizzly Bear Refuge". I nÀrheten finns fiske, golf, forsrÀnning pÄ Grade 4-rated Kicking Horse River.

Vi Àr stolta över att kunna erbjuda vÄrt underbara fritidshus, belÀget pÄ den sköna skidbacken, av Kicking Horse Mountain Resort för uthyrning för dina korta semesterbehov. Detta fantastiska lÀge erbjuder skidor och skiduthyrning för de mer Àventyrliga och ligger ocksÄ bekvÀmt nÀra en skidlift. Det hÀr loggbaserade hemmet har enastÄende katedraltak, med trÀbjÀlkar i massor och massor av stora fönster för att maximera de vackra omgivningarna. BottenvÄningen har ett stort fullt utrustat kök och stort matbord, och Àven frukostbar sittplatser. BottenvÄningen har ocksÄ skiffer spis med gas eld och sittgrupp.


TvÀtt och tvÀttrum ocksÄ pÄ bottenvÄningen.

Boendet inkluderar pÄ övervÄningen, ett stort sovrum med egen balkong och med stor 4 stycken master badrum. Huvud bad pÄ övervÄningen med ett andra sovrum med fantastisk logg vÄningssÀngar-queen size sÀng pÄ basen och dubbelt ovanför. OcksÄ pÄ övre vÄningen hittar du ett stort öppet avkopplande utrymme och ett loftomrÄde med en annan vÄningssÀng, dubbel storlek (Àven med som dagbÀdd - för anvÀndning med TV / PS3-system) och med enkelsÀng ovanför. KÀllaren erbjuder en extra tillflyktsort, med ett stort sovrum med stort ljust fönster och en uppsÀttning dubbla vÄningssÀngar. Ett annat badrum (duschrum) och Àven vardagsrum / TV-rum.

Fantastiska vyer frÄn alla fönster och utsidan har ett dÀck, vilket leder till privat Ätta personer badtunna omgiven av trÀd för den perfekta Ànden till en bra dag.

Detta Àr ett idealiskt lÀge, bara nÄgra minuters promenad till den lokala puben och restaurangerna, och för de speciella tillfÀllen, ta gondolen till toppen av berget och njut av den fantastiska middagsupplevelsen, "överst i vÀrlden" pÄ Eagles Eye Restaurant.

We loved the location and peaceful atmosphere. The spacious cabin offered just what we needed. The only downside was the wifi, which was extremely slow to nonexistent.

Amazing house from which to explore the rockies.

Absolutely fantastic house which we used as a base for part of our family trip through the rockies. Massive space, extremely clean & comfortable, very well equipped and lovely location. Host was extremely helpful so would highly recommended.

Great location, great house for big groups

Group of 4 couples who get together each year for an annual ski trip- we loved that everyone had their own space, but also lots of space where we could hang together. Great skiing, with ski out trail just across the road. Beautiful and well stocked kitchen with everything one would expect. Very nice that use of the garage is included. Hot tub could use better access as we always felt like we tracked dirt into it, even trying not to. Also would've been nice to have bath towels provided, kind of wierd that they arent- even face cloths, etc arent included. Otherwise we had a grreat time.

Kicking Horse is Rad

This was an awesome place to stay. The house is great, layout is great, amenities are great.You can tell the owners really love their house. I really enjoyed our stay here. The ski-in/ski-out was extra nice. The kitchen is well appointed which is good since it is a bit of a drive to Golden.

Golden Ultra Trip 2024

My husband and daughter and I stayed here when she participated in the Golden Ultra which had stages both in Golden and at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. It was a very convenient location. The kitchen was well set up for cooking and we enjoyed relaxing in the great room between events. The bathrooms have been recently updated and the finishings make it seem like home. We would definitely come again.

Great Family Getaway

My top 2 favourite things were the hot tub and the beds! I never sleep well away from home and I slept like a rock!!! All of the amenities we needed were there. The hosts were so quick to respond to questions. We would definitely stay there again!!

Perfect place to unwind after exploring

Beautiful area, lots of space inside to unwind, great kitchen. Hot tub was a nice touch. Appreciated all the amenities! Looking forward to visiting in the winter sometime!

Excellent house well supplied. Our group of seven were very comfortable.

Great House. Few minor maintenance issues to be dealt with during our stay, but no biggie. Host Mel was excellent with great communication leading up to and during our stay. Would definitely stay there again and happy to provide high recommendation.

In Heaven!

Our Family was in heaven at Mel's ski in and out property! In march we could ski from the garage down the frozen driveway and over the frozen little street thar is Purcel Woods. From there you crossn1 street (5 meters) and are skiing downhill to the base/gondola. The house was perfect. With a queen bed and three sets ofnl bunkbeds we didnt even need the pull out couch. The hot tub worked great as did everything else. Loved our time and hope to be back soon.

Amazing home short distance from base

We had a great time at Mel's place. Location was great, house was well stocked w games, toiletries and kitchen items (note bath towels are not provided). Great hot tub and layout. Garage is super convenient for storage and changing in and out of ski gear. Would recommend and return.

Great cabin for a group or family, short walk to ski in/out.

Comfy cabin with that real "ski cabin" feel, nicely equipped and decorated. It's a 2 min walk to the ski run and then you can ski to the gondola, ski out right to the house off the run. Has a double garage which is nice as well for parking and storing gear. Hot tub is a nice plus! Would definitely come back in the future. Hosts were great, lots of detailed info on property.

beautiful cabin

we have been going to Kicking Horse for several years but had never stayed at this house before. In the future this will be our first choice. The cabin is very cozy and was beautifully decorated for the holiday season. The beds are very comfortable, the showers have rainwater style heads, the kitchen is open and well stocked with cooking materials. The host was very nice, easy to communicate with, and very accomodating. As long as there is a little bit of snow, this place is a true ski-in ski-out. We can't wait to come back.

Kicking Horse Ski House

Overall, this is a good house and a good setup. We loved the downstairs hangout for the teens with a PS5. This left the main floor for the adults. The only weird thing that would drop my ratings is that we had to bring our own towels - both for the hot tub and the bathrooms. Overall a great rental.

Canadian Rockies Trip - Stay at Golden

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Kicking Horse Retreat Cabin. Mel was a great host...the house was fully equipped with all necessities. We loved the hot tub, the rain shower, and a fully stocked kitchen. The cabin is very nicely decorated which made our experience even better. We would come back here.

Great house with lots of room

What a great house! So comfortable lots of space for our family of four. Wonderful bathrooms and walking distance to the gondola. This house is exactly as advertised and then some. Mel the owner was extremely responsive and wonderful to deal with. If you plan to stay in Golden this house is a great option.
