“I liked that the Acala Hotel was different. From the outside it looked like a typical store front, but when you walk inside you're in the hotel lobby. I used rhe stairs and on each level at the top of the stairs was a seating area. It was somethng different. I was exploring just walking around and at the end of one of the hallways was a balcony with a view of the shops on the street. I would recommend the Alcala Hotel. I will stay there again. Also they have a restaurant with very good food....

“A quiet get away. Not reccomended if you like noise and parties. You see the waves breaking from the hotel window, but the sand is not super smooth and the waves are dangerous. It was too dangerous for swimming when we where there. The pool was nice :-)”

“Good location for a night transfer from Panama city to bocas del toro. 2 dollar taxiride to and from the busstation. No real restaurant in the area. Free coffee 24/7 is a bonus!”
