“Overall a very nice stay. We were expecting Hästen beds but we’re told they’ve been changed in November 2024. The new beds are of the firm type. The hotel was very clean and was very nicely designed, the bookshelf carved into the bathroom wall was particularly cool! Service was friendly and attentive. The breakfast on the top floor was small but nice with a beautiful view. ”

“Warm welcoming arrival, with maps and parking details provided. Beautiful room with high quality linens. Even a small kitchenette in the room. Quiet at night. Great location for University Cristina was lovely host at breakfast and made cooked bacon to accompany scrambled eggs. 10 out of 10”

“Staff were very nice. Rooms were simple but effective. Heating was working (some reviews dud not understand that there was a switch on the side as well as he temp control.) hot water also good. Fridge, basic cooking equipment plates etc. Bring a corkscrew and a small coffee percolator if you need them. Towels and bed sheets with a duvet all clean etc. ”

“The Luggage Hostel & Suites has a very good location on the hillside with nice views. It is easy to park in the street and calm in the night. It is a charming old villa with special architecture and atmosphere. You can have breakfast or a drink on the balcony with view to the other hillside and the old university. The staff is very helpful with information about Coimbra and you can easily walk to the sights, old town and city center. We would have liked to stay one more night, but unfortunately...

“Ruim apartement in een oud gebouw met meer appartementen. Vanwege bouw en leeftijd wel wat gehorig, maar goed geschikt voor een meerdaags verblijf in Coimbra. Zeer behulpzaam personeel van hotel Oslo bij het inchecken. Bij een volgend bezoek zouden we dit zonder aarzeling weer boeken”

“The room was clean, quiet and just right for our group of 3. It had air conditioning and heat. The shared kitchen was very large. It's at the center of everything. Public car parking was close and priced well. The rooms are right in the middle of everything we needed. It was all walking distance. We are completely happy with this accommodation. ”
