“Convenient property. Get an upstairs room if possible since you can hear people walking upstairs and talking. Price is reasonable so it gets 5 stars overall. Stayed here many years ago when they first opened. No breakfast due to COVID changes. Good wifi internet. Stairs are somewhat steep so not good if you have any disabilities.”

“Have stayed in Upington several times before but first time we have stayed at Browns Manor. Fully deserves 4 star rating. A green oasis in the Kalahari - massive koi carp a reap bonus. Staff really kind and helpful. Nice clean pool with shaded area and loungers. Good quality breakfast included.”

“A beautiful lodge set on a wine farm, the building is wrapped around a swimming pool with the dining room and guest suites looking onto the pool and carefully tended garden. Food was excellent, staff attentive.”

We got excellent information from them on the history and economy of the region and on how to access the Riemvasmaak hot springs, including by the spectacular route to its west (4x4 only) through the Vredensvallei canyon.”
