“Lovely stay despite the weather. Our second stay here and it's always good to know you have the pool as a back up plan to entertain the children if the weather is poor. Great walks from the front door. Comfy beds. Idyllic location.”

The cottage was clean and very well laid out with a wonderful view from the dining room.The bed was comfortable and a good shower plenty of hot water and at a decent pressure.On leaving Janet called in to see if were happy with everything and to chat about our bike rides and walking trips. “We hired the bunkhouse for two nights of birthday celebrations and walking. Great location with stunning walks right outside the door. Wainwright’s Inn is a few steps away, as is the co-op with its little cafe upstairs. I hope to make our stay an annual event. Highly recommended!”

“Had a great long weekend at the property. Had loads of stuff there to use the kitchen to its full potential. Was lovely and warm and everyone had plenty of space in the accommodation. We were able to celebrate Christmas with my mum who is going to Guatemala next month and won’t be there. A few tiny tweaks will make this a perfect let but already great as it is.”

“We all enjoyed our stay at the lodge. Was so peaceful kids enjoyed looking at the horses and having a spa onsite was an added bonus. Would definitely recommend the host was very welcoming and on hand to answer any questions. 5 stars ”

“Very nice place, we felt like at home here. Everything was clean. The apartment has everything you need, you can cook, you can relax. The town is beautiful. Shops literally across the street. Cheap parking right next to the apartment. The owners are very helpful and answer all questions very quickly. I would definitely go back to this place and I highly recommend it. “The lovely view from the lounge/diner makes the property, which was very well equipped and very well located in relation to the village centre and its many restaurants and shops. Our stay was enhanced by some really exceptional weather.”

“Shower had a blockage but was sorted within a timely manner, the studio was nice and cosy and met my needs, the room seemed cleaned to a good standard but could do with a duster on the ceiling as cobwebs are farming in one corner and I do think they need to deep clean the cutlery and utensils and cooking accessories as they was getting a build up of grime on hard to clean areas but from constant use which once a month or every two weeks depending on how busy occupancy is and that’s why I gave a...
