“The spa, the outdoor pool and the fine dining restaurant were all great. They gave us boots and jackets for our walk, which was great. The informal restaurant was not that great. I paid £18 for a worse than average burger. Also, there were not many cosy places to sit around with a drink or coffee. There was only one room, which could easily get crowded. Luckily, we were there on a Monday in March, so this time it wasn't but I think the occupancy was only about 25-30%.”

“My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay at Buckland Manor. The staff was so lovely, the room was always clean, and the food…unbelievable! The staff was also so kind of let us know about the history of the manor which was fascinating. We have told many friends and family about this place and we will definitely be back. ”

“Vistades på hotellet i fyra dygn. Vi hade rum 206 på hotellet. Vi sade till första dagen att alla kalkstensplattor i badrummet var lösa och att det luktade avlopp när man öppnade ytterdörren. Tror inte att badrumsgolvet kommer att åtgärdas och det känns oacceptabelt att de låter gäster bo i rummet.”

“The hotel and the room are beautiful and the staff are great. Food was excellent. Parking included was appreciated. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable for my preference of a softer mattress and no additional mattress topper was available when asked. ”

“Staff were great and attentive. Particularly those serving at breakfast. Room was super cosy and cute. Only issue was that the smell of drainage hit us as soon as we opened our hotel room door - we were room 3. Fantastic stay otherwise and would definitely recommend. ”
