Hotell nära Gouldsboro State Park Beach

“Look, you get what you pay for... this place was not worth quite that. The room was OK (e.g., bed and chairs) but that was about it. The TV had 4 channels (only) that pixelated/froze every few seconds, The plumbing needs a lot of work, The room does not have "heating controls" - but rather just a knob that turns the (loud) heater on or off... The walls are thin enough that I could hear conversations from 2-3 rooms away... My overall review... Ouch.”

“Great property with great staff! Hop is super amazing and helpful and both Joe and Joe jr were nice and courteous as well. Another lady whom I didn’t get her name was also super lovely. Two beautiful horses on the property along with an indoor pool, hot tub, fire pit area and trails makes it a truly convenient enjoyable stay. Highly recommend and will return!”

“The only problem I had was the toilet ran all night and the door slamming all night when people went in and out. Everything else was great”

“We had a wonderful couple of days at the countryside here. Quiet, not a lot of trafic. Nice staff, nice restaurant. The rooms were clean and nice. The outdoor-pool was terrific and our kids enjoyed it a lot! There are outdor-toys to borrow if you are traveling around like we did. If we end up close by again we would come back to this location. Best regards from Sweden!”

“Historic Skytop Lodge is a gem. The gardens were beautiful in late October during our stay and we enjoyed a hike to the waterfalls on the property. Restaurant meals were great. We had dinner at Lakeside, an italian restaurant, and the buffet breakfast in the Lodge literally filled a room with options. We enjoyed the indoor and outdoor hot tubs and the history tour was a highlight!”

“It was quaint, clean and well maintained.”

“We were a party of 6. What a welcome and we loved the rooms and friendliness. We had dinner at Butter which was excellent. Mark and Carol are fantastic hosts. I cannot recommend this b&b enough! Amazing breakfast included. Our evening was also perfect amazing dinner followed by a roaring outdoor fire next to the stream. Thanks for having us! Sarah & Tony with fam and friends”

“No Staff, everything is self-service. It's not really a Bed & Breakfast, it's more like renting a room without staff.”

“Bit of a bait and switch. The rooms are very small. The fireplace is bring your own wood. And the fireplace isn't wide enough so it sets the fire alarm off. The shower is a tube. The wifi doesn't work on the property and I struggled to get data. The cable is connected to wifi so that doesn't work. The rooms are decorated with very odd paintings. Very easily could be the scene of a scary movie. The pond had a bunch of trash, a fountain that resemble my lawn sprinkler, and was very cheap looking...

“Everything was good”

“I love it”

“The tv did not have many channels at all. Our toilet kept running water and had to wait some time to flush again.”

“Loved it, was clean and beautiful. Would recommend 100%!”
