The Evolve Group, in charge of managing this property, is incredibly ineffective and doing the property owners a great disservice.
Looked at my check in instructions on the way and noticed they want you to call ahead for dogs, which I did. My reservation was “notated”. I attempted to pay these fees at check in, and was told by Bill at the front desk that “ownership pays these” so he then removes my card from the file and I register the dogs with the front desk, filling out a separate card with their info, that was put into an accordion file folder labeled for Pet registration.
I receive an email on the second night of my stay, accusing me of hiding dogs, despite evidence of communication. I received no other communications from this company and responded immediately to rectify and explain the confusion. I ask them to call me to pay these pet fees I’ve tried to pay multiple times, but instead they continue to email me and tell me they’ve attempted to call me over the weekend. Ive provided my call logs that show my calls ahead of arrival l and asked them to cease communication that continues to minimize my responsibility. Been trying to pay these for days now.
There’s also a parental lock on the Xfinity cable box that no on knows the code for, but the guest support contact wanted to send maintenance out to… guess the code. I stay in hotels and vrbos 4 nights a week for work. Property was fine but this back and forth has ruined it. Won’t be back.
