Our 4 bedroom cozy mountain cabin provides gorgeous mountain views, an 8-person private hot tub, Sonos sound system, 3 cozy king beds, and a prime location - smack in the middle between Winter Park & Grand Lake.
For skiing, our home is just 25 mins from Winter Park and 7 mins from Ski Granby Ranch. For boating, our home is only 10 mins to Lake Granby and 25 mins to Grand Lake. For exploring, our home is only 40 mins from Rocky Mountain National Park and 20 mins from Hot Sulpher Springs!
The space
Overview:
This warm and cozy cabin is perfect for entertaining with a great room/open floor plan, vaulted ceilings, and multiple large windows to enjoy the beautiful mountain vistas. Step outside and take in the mountain fresh air on the large deck with sweeping mountain views.
Main Level (2nd):
The main living space is upstairs on the 2nd floor. With the open floor plan, the arrangement is great for entertaining and socializing. The kitchen has a gas stove, dual ovens, a dishwasher, plenty of cabinets, and counter space, and is fully equipped with all the necessary kitchen accessories. On the other side of the kitchen island sits the dining area with a nice wood table that comfortably seats 6. Also in this vaulted living room are two cozy sofas, and a new large flat-screen TV, ready with streaming services, and WiFi.
Just off the living room is a wonderful deck for outdoor entertaining, in the non-winter months it is nicely furnished with 2 chairs, a dining table, and a large BBQ grill (3 burners). The stairs running down from the upper deck bring you down to the driveway and the lower level which houses a luxurious 8-person hot tub.
Also, on the 2nd floor is a full bathroom, which is located close to the living room, and the Aspen Bedroom (#2) and the Mountain View Bedroom (#3), both fully equipped with King beds.
Upper Level (3rd):
Just up the stairs, outside the Primary Bedroom (#1), there is a cozy reading nook, set up with a warm throw rug, comfy armchairs, and angled so two people can pleasantly enjoy a good book/podcast/game while taking in the mountain vistas.
The primary bedroom is furnished with a king bed, an armoire, and a large master bathroom with a walk-in shower and a Jacuzzi tub.
Lower Level (1st):
On the 1st floor is a bunk/bonus room that you can leverage for work or play. For work, there is a premium work-from-home setup complete with a standing desk, comfort pad, 30-inch monitor, keyboard, and mouse, that you can use to work like a champ. For play, there is a 65-inch flatscreen tv, a Roku, a Nintendo Wii system, Xbox 360. For lounging, there are two large couches - one regular sofa and one with a chaise lounger. For sleeping, there is a full/twin bunk bed and the chaise couch transforms into a full bed.
This bunk/bonus room has a door to the outside which is the most convenient door to access the 8-person hot tub but any external door will get you there. Also, on the 1st floor are a washer and dryer for laundry, and access to the two-car garage.
The garage easily accommodates 2 oversized vehicles with plenty of additional space in the gravel driveway for additional vehicles, which can fit at least 4-6 vehicles depending on size and snowpack.
The entire house has SONOS speakers for seamlessly integrated music throughout the home.
Guest access
The house uses a smart lock which is located on the door next to the garage on the 1st level. The smart lock access code will be released prior to check-in.
**AWD/4WD capability is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED in snowy winter months**
Other things to note
HOA rules and regulations
- Trailers, campers, RVâs, boats cannot be parked on the property for more than 24 hours. All vehicles must be parked in driveway overnight
- ATVâs, dirt bikes, snow mobiles and any other off road motorized vehicles may not be driven on community roads or properties
- No loud outdoor noise between 10 pm to 8 am daily
- Outdoor lights should be turned off by 10 pm
- Guests must adhere to all county fire bans. Fireworks are NEVER permitted
