“The pool and hot tub were nice and the pool side room options were nice as well. The room was very small, and the bathroom was at the back of the room instead of the front, putting the bed right by the door. Our stay was good overall and all the staff were very friendly and helpful!”

“This was our first time staying at this hotel and we will definitely book it again. We had a 1 bedroom suite that was spacious and comfortable. The room was clean, the furniture was comfortable, the air conditioning worked well. The bathroom could use some refreshing. Parking was good, the front desk employees were all friendly, and coffee and tea were always available in the lobby.”

“I like this hotel because, we had a poolside room. The pool area is not cold, it’s comfortable. The pool area does not smell like chlorine!! The hot tub and pool are right next to each other. Hot tub water floats over the wall into the pool so the pool is not freezing cold! It’s a great set up! Breakfast was good. Bed comfortable. Not the newest place, but for the money. It’s great. Will stay again. Precious (Mgr name) was super friendly!!”

“Everything about the Hampton property was excellent, the Expedia app was the thing that was 2 thumbs down, I was booked and paid for in the app, but when I went to check in nothing was sent to Hampton Inn from Expedia. Was an exhausting experience just to check in, thankfully the staff at hotel were accommodating, having said that I will no longer be using Expedia for any travel arrangements”

“First and foremost, was the issue of the bulk of the guests being long-term residents of the hotel. It seemed as though we were the only overnight guests. They advertise great rates on weekly rentals and it appeared that the hotel was quite full with long-term guests. There was a lot of noise, a lot of dirt, a lot of very bad smells, and dogs roaming in the halls. The area itself did not feel safe, entirely. The room was not very clean, including the floor being sticky. The caveat is that the...

“The property was very up to date and clean. Staff was friendly and check in easy. The room was fairly spacious with a larger compact fridge and small microwave. TV sound did carry through the wall from the next room but it wasn’t loud enough to be an issue. The hotel is conveniently located to get back and forth to the university, although the city needs to repair the road the hotel is on. I did not partake of the breakfast so have no comment on it.”

“The hotel was fine, from front desk staff to amenities to room size to location. Road work nearby was not the fault of the hotel. On the other hand it was difficult, challenging and severely disappointing to deal with Expedia when I needed to make a change. There was no honest effort or customer service to work with me on my change request. I’m not sure I will use Expedia for any future travels.”

“In all fairness, they are renovating now, which I didn't know when booking. Our room was renovated and quite nice. The room was spacious, nice bright bathroom with only a shower, no tub, which was fine for me. The shower head is positioned why too high so you can't really adjust it, unless you are tall. The bed was very comfortable. The bedding and pillow were great. It was quiet as there were only maybe a handful of guests....if that. Breakfast was okay. Eggs, sausages, waffles, yogurt, white...
