Worst experience at a rental
I'll try to keep this short but, I wanted to take a sec and make sure I left a review so other people would at least get a chance to know before they spend their hard earned money at this location. It was very dirty! I mean it was picked up and looked cute but as far as like dust and animal hair, it was very bad. I'm highly allergic to cats and the hair was everywhere. And dust on the ceiling fan that was ridiculous. I contacted their rude management and VRBO customer support and nothing. I ended up with an infection and spent $250 just to see the doctor where I was as prescribed medicine. Still no help with sending anyone to clean. And God forbid you need towels with no where to wash laundry and your there longer then a week. I asked for towels and someone left 2 small wash rags at the front door. It's cute but please take my advice pick another one. Oh I almost forgot. I texted the management about the dishwasher being disconnected from thethe cabinet it was falling out and she said she would send someone. No one ever came to fix it and the stove didn't work and she said she was having one dropped off and that never happened either.

Felt Like Home
We greatly enjoyed our stay in Grand Junction at 3197 E Road. The bungalow we rented was clean, quiet, and well equipped. We had all the amenities of home. The only improvement is that we would have liked to have a washer and dryer, but everything else was perfect.

The shelves where the dishes are were very dusty. Needed to wash everything before use. Also, it is on major streets which is convenient but there was a lot of road noise. The shower was nice and hot! It was a good place for a short stay and place to sleep.

Sketchy location . Felt unsafe.
My wife and I took one look at the property and neighborhood and said there was no way we would stay. Whole place felt unsafe and the neighboring houses were unkempt. I contacted VRBO and have yet to hear one word. Also contacted property manager who said she couldn't do anything and to contact VRBO. DON't reserve here.

Cute little bungalow
Adorable setup with all the necessities of home! Located off some main roads so although a little noisy at night it was incredibly easy to get from Grand Junction to Palisade and everywhere in-between!

Cute place, great host!!!
My husband, kid and I went to grand junction to visit our daughter while she swam in a college swim meet. We loved our host Karen and when we needed anything she was on it! She had chickens that our 10yr old loved feeding! She accommodated our dogs and allowed us to use other areas to walk them which was super helpful! The area is very close to palisades, but we were a little farther from Downtown GJ than we wanted to be. The bungalow and the property was great, but the surrounding area is a little run down unfortunately. We felt safe though and our stay was still very good!!!

Cute but not good
There were so many problems with the check in process and overall I do not think they were fit for running an place you can rent out. Overall a weird and bad experience. Don’t recommend. But the inside is cute. It looks like the pictures but a lot of mixups did happen.

Hi Ashleigh, we're glad you found this home cute, but after following up with the homeowners, they wanted to clarify what happened during your stay. They let us know that after checking into this bungalow, you broke a window lock and entered the other rental onsite. Each unit is unique, so it is easy to determine which one is the correct rental based on photos; they have never had guests get mixed up before. The other guests were obviously upset to find you inside their cottage upon arrival, as were the owners. As past reviews can attest, these owners always go above and beyond to provide an ideal stay for all guests. We are confident that future travelers will continue to enjoy five-star visits here!

Cute little bungalow but didn’t realize it was attached to a house. It wasn’t a problem/ no noise from the other home. Super cute flowers And outdoor area and throwback decor inside and out. Indoor living area a bit tight for eating and hanging out but the adorable outdoor area makes up for it.

Amazing Bungalow!
We had the best time staying at the Bees Knees Bungalow! Easy check in, very clean, great location, and great property. The hosts are easy to get in touch with and recommend great restraints and fun things to do in the area. Will definitely stay again.

Amazing Bungalow with Lots of Character!
Great location pretty equidistant to the wineries of Palisade and wonderful restaurants of Grand Junction. The Bees Knees is a cozy little bungalow with everything you need for a wonderful vacation. Karen was AMAZING going out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed! I wish we could have stayed longer but we'll be back for sure!!

Everything was great, clean and very nice. The listing does say capacity for 4 but that would be very tight. We had 3 people and it was perfect! The outdoor space is great. Very cute little place with personality.

Great and pet-friendly !
The Bees Knees is a small, attached apartment, with every comfort provided! The bed is great, it was cool in very hot weather, and there were many personal touches, like a basket of goodies! The hosts, Karen and Kelly were wonderful, friendly and informative, but not at all intrusive. The property is perfect for a pet, but was amazingly clean and inviting. We enjoyed our stay!

My mother and I stayed here while visiting family in the Grand Junction area. The Bees Knees Bungalow was PERFECT and had everything we could have needed for our weekend trip. The unit was very clean and we loved the decor. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you!

Cute, comfortable, enjoyable!
We loved the eclectic decorating and the fun little garden areas. Karen is a wonderful host; she gave good suggestions for restaurants, etc. The house was stocked with everything from extra toothbrushes to snacks. The bed was beyond comfortable and the shower was great.( People with mobility issues should not consider this property because there are steps inside.)

Excellent Bungalow!
This unit was by far the cleanest and best stocked vacation rental we have stayed in. The bed was comfortable and the blinds keep the unit dark if you would like to sleep in. We were able to Uber to Palisade and enjoy wine country! The dogs loved the open area out back to run and play. Can't wait to return.

Cute little bungalow
It’s a cute bungalow that easily had enough room for two(would not recommend more)! Karen was an excellent host who greeted us and had little amenities and treats. Her and her husband were very welcoming to us and our dogs. It’s between Grand Junction and Palisades which is convenient for hiking and wine country.

We had a wonderful stay at the Bees Knees. Adorable unit with all we needed for a great weekend, plus the place had adorable decor with a vintage vibe. Karen was a wonderful host and we felt so comfortable. Did yoga on the patio in the morning to the sound of doves. Bed was very comfortable, towels were fluffy and unit was spotless. We would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a unique place in a very convenient location in the Grand Valley.

Wonderful Stay at the Bees Knees Bungalow
We really enjoyed our stay at the bees knees bungalow! The house was newly remodeled and very clean. The host was also nearby, and she was very helpful. We loved sitting on the patio, drinking wine and playing board games. We also loved the tall windows in the bedroom and the old fashioned record player. I would definitely recommend this rental to anyone needing to stay in the Grand Valley.
