Hotell nära Grand Marquis

"Mycket bra hotell som ger valuta för pengarna. Det är inget lyxhotell, frukosten är mycket sparsam, på gränsen till icke existerande men man får en god kopp kaffe och en bagel eller muffin. Bra start för att sen gå iväg och ta riktigt frukost någon annanstans. Hotellet har ett fantastiskt läge. Rena välstädade rum, om något lite till åren. Trevlig personal och även om mitt rum var mot 23rd street var det förvånansvärt tyst och lugnt. Kommer gärna tillbaka. "

"The room, location and view were nice but our stay was ruined by the nightclub that went on till 4am on the floor below us. We were at no point in the booking process or MONTHS leading up to our stay informed that there was a nigthclub in the hotel open to 4 am! The incredibly loud music, bass and party-goers screams and singing kept us up till 4.15 am. We could not sleep a wink before this. When we checked in the receptionist said that "Oh by the way, we have a nightclub on the floor under your's and it might be a bit loud. It is open till 4 am. Here are some earplugs that may help." This was the first we heard about this when we checked in at 10.45 pm after a long flight. We had booked the hotel for one night as we needed a central hotel to get some well-need sleep on our lay-over stay before our flight home to Stockholm the next day. Upon entering our room we heard rightaway how loud it was. It was like our room what the bathroom of a nightclub, it was that loud. When I mentioned this to the receptionist the same evening she said " Yes, I am sorry. I just got a call that it is even louder than usual tonight. Sorry." There was no mention at any point of our stay of a reduction in price, complimentary anything or even an admission that they should have told us this beforehand. TERRIBLE service. When we checked out they didn't even ask how our stay was, I assume they were avoiding the inevitable. The $40 for "amenities" is also a COMPELTE rip off-think twice before booking. "

"Slitna rum och obefintlig service. Mer som ett vandrarhem än hotell. På tre nätter kollade inte städet av rummet en enda gång. Vill man ha stöd kostar det 35 dollar extra, inget som framgick vid bokning. När vi skulle checka ut fick bagaget bara förvaras i tre timmar. Kom vi inte för att hämta bagaget i tid så skulle bagaget ställa utanför hotellet. Kod till ytterdörr och till rum så oklart varför man bemannat hotellet. "

"A nice hotel located in the financial district, very close to many different transportation options. The room was cleaned every day and was soundproof. Overall, it was a very good experience."
