“Changed to handicapped room for way more space and comfort for our 6 night stay. Staff helpful in arranging this. Lots of nearby places to buy good quality food for diy breakfast in room w well appointed kitchen. Fresh fruit and yogurt downstairs was helpful too. Only drawback is the vacant lot next door where unhoused people sleep and leave litter behind in the morning. Otherwise cool neighborhood in Brooklyn close to Park Slope”

“The bed sheets, pillows and bathroom towels all looked extremely worn and dingy. The comforter was also stained. The hotel also refused to provide a room on the top floor despite the fact that this was expressly listed as a feature when I booked the room through Expedia. Upon contacting Hilton customer service directly, I was told that they cannot guarantee a top floor accommodation since it is based on availability, and that this was an error on Expedia’s part and they recommend that I book...

“This hotel is quite good! The front desk staff was nice. The breakfast buffet was delicious—my granddaughters loved the pancake machine. It was great that there was a pool table so I taught my granddaughters to play pool. The room itself had plenty of space and the ventilation was very quiet. My only issue was the refrigerator motor which was very noisy.”

“We had a great stay at the Industrialist for 2 days before our cruise from Brooklyn. The accommodation is clean and well equipped and is good value for money. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The location is also excellent for subway access and 5th Avenue which is great for evening strolls.”
