    As you step into this charming pet-friendly home, you'll be greeted by an explosion of bright colors and an open-concept design that showcases stunning water views of the Currituck Sound from almost every corner of the second level.     OHANA features two Queen Bedrooms on the second level, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. If you're someone who likes to keep your clothes fresh and clean on vacation, there's a full washer and dryer for your use as well.

    As you make your way up to the third level, you'll find the third bedroom, which boasts a Full Bed and Twin Bed with a Trundle. You can enjoy some quiet time in the large open sitting area, which also offers more stunning water views. The cozy chair and TV make it the perfect spot to unwind and relax. Be sure to take the secure ladder up to the brightly colored loft area with a sitting nook and prepare to be amazed by the sunset view you'll get from up there.     OHANA offers a large expansive property providing privacy and ample space for all your vacation needs. You'll be close to several restaurants, the grocery store, an arcade, and the H2OWater Park. For the golf enthusiasts in the group, the Carolina Club golf course is also nearby, and the Kilmarlic and The Point golf courses are just a short distance away. And, since you're in Grandy, you're only about 20 miles from the Kitty Hawk beaches!

Unclean house

Tried to check in, then we finally got into the house, the sheets were never changed. There were spiders all over and it smelled like wet dog. I would like to be compensated because we had to leave and go to a motel

The host was responsive and helpful. When we got there, there were only a couple small issues. The couch cushion covers had been left in the washer and smelled, and the floor was a little dirty. However, we sent them a message and the next morning someone showed up with supplies needed to re-wadh the covers and offered to come back by and put them on, but we could handle that so there was no need. And they offered to clean the floors, which we also did because it wasn't a big deal. The only other thing that was a tiny bit disappointing was that, in the pictures, It looks like open ocean out in front of the house, with a sound on the left and the right. You can't really tell but there is land out in front of the house a good ways out that blocks off the open ocean. With that being said, I really can't complain much. I fell in love with the house, and the peacefulness of being out there. I do love the location as it was pretty close to everything and we were able to go to a lot of really nice beaches just going an hour down the road. I had an amazing time and I would definitely stay in this home again! I did not want to leave! I also loved that the yard is fenced in So that my dog was able to be off of his leash and enjoy his vacation as well! I would give this place an 8.5 out of 10 in the end. The decorations are so beautiful as well and feel so beachy. Thanks so much for a wonderful vacation! I hope to be back soon!

House was clean and nice. Definitely need new mattress in the upstairs bedroom. It was like sleeping on an army cot! The only problem we had was that it is 45- to an hr from the Outer Banks. It was kinda misleading making you think you were near the beach.We had beautiful sunrises every morning and it was great being right on the water.The fire alarm went off at 6 am and we could not get it to go off. I contacted the host and they finally called me back and said it would be 9 am before they could get there!!! We hurried and packed our stuff and left. It was so loud. If they would have given me a code over the phone or something to shut it off. But they didn’t. It was so loud we had to leave at 6:35 am this morning.

Terrible, lots of spiders (no exaggeration). And I’m not scared of spiders. The grass was knee high

Kees realty handles this property poorly. The don’t go by VRBO. They only allow two payments. They don’t fix what is wrong. The house was not ready for rental. I had to wash the outside furniture just to sit in them. The neighbor hood is run down. The gate does not lock from inside. The door lock to get in takes two hands on steep stairs that were filled with bug guts so you don’t want to sit anything down. We stayed our stay with promise from Kees that they would cut cut the grass on Tuesday…it wasn’t cut till Thursday afternoon. No pressure washing at all which was also promised. Don’t stay here, there are so many other choices. And don’t stay where Kees is the realtor company. I’m not a review writer but this was serious!
