All supplies, groceries should be picked up in Jefferson or West Jefferson(approx. 30 minutes away) to have the most choices. Lansing(approx. 15 mins) has a small grocery store for last minute needs. Most front wheel drive cars can get up without trouble with a running start. We are sorry you found it hard to navigate when the gravel was wet. We appreciate your review on our cabin, High on Helton. This cabin provides privacy, peaceful serenity with the creek, and outdoor spaces. We value your input and comments greatly. Each cabin is furnished differently by the owner and I am sorry you did not find the couch to be as comfortable as you are used to. The owner has thoughtfully equipped the living room with sleeper sofa so that may seem to affect the comfort of sitting there. We always inform our guests with exact directions so your suggestion on the driveway was helpful and included for future stays! Our guests do not get charged a basic cleaning fee and all the general, basic cleaning and sanitizing is included with their rental rates. Therefore, we do ask that guests put the kitchen back to order. Linen laundering with our cabin is optional as well. We appreciate your business and hope you would come to relax with us again!
