Hotell nära Gray Area - Grand Theater

“It was a simple place. It was just very overpriced. 300 dollars for a room with very noisy walls. You could hear the neighbours cough. Overall clean.”

“If you're looking for a unique stay in the Castro, the Hotel Castro is perfect! The rooms are cozy but very charming and perfect for 1-2 travelers. There's a grocery store right across the street, and excellent coffee shops and dining options within walking distance. If you're into nightlife, there are bars and clubs just around the corner.”

“The hotel is located in an area with 90 % homeless people. Everywhere outside the hotel there are literally houndreds of home less people. Two other bad things with the hotell is extremely expensive valet parking costing over a 100 dollars per day (!) and the strange absence of food for dinner. We arrived late in the afternoon at normal dinner hour but the hotel did not offer any proper food, only a slim bar menu and staff were also very confusing when we asked for restaurants nearby. Very...

“The hotel is in the centre of SF, perfectly located for visiting the city. The check in is via a screen, there are no employees on the spot. The room we got was on the 3rd floor (without elevator, which was no problem for us but can be a challenge with big bags for older people) and was fairly small (difficult to pass by each other) but clean. The bathroom was supernice. There was an A/C, small fridge, hair dryer, TV, heater etc in the room, but no desk or chair or cupboard (no space for it),...

“We booked a room for 3. Total floor was below 10 sq. meeters. On top of that the hotel is located in the worst part of SF. Felt unsafe. We left 10 minutes after checking in. Not recommended.”

“Safe and budget friendly place near the Castro. The walls are thin, can hear the other guests. The shower and bathroom are shared and not well maintained.”

“Nyrenoverat, rent och hjälpfull personal”

“A bit run down and elevator being repaired. Breakfast is yoghurt, milk, cereals and coffee/juice and toast. Room was OK clean and bed ok. Overall the standard fits the price point. Could do with a refurbishment top to bottom. ”

“An amazing boutique hotel right on Market Street and 15 minute walk to The Castro. Very highly recommended 2 star accommodation so keep in mind there is no air conditioning or fridge in the room. Still, very good value for money and l would stay there again.”

“Another comfortable stay”

“Value for money. Clean, cheap hotel. Friendly staff, good service. No noice from the street. And a+ for the pool.”

“Området kändes inte try”

“Trevligt mottagande när vi kom. Gratis kaffe och juice. Inget trevligt område. Inga restauranger i närheten. Rekommenderar att ta ett hotell där det finns mer att göra och inte en massa uteliggare. ”

“Great food located all within walking distance of the front door!”

“The SoMa Inn is situated in a very central spot in San Francisco. All matters of communications are readily available just a block away and it’s very smooth to get to most downtown sites. We had a spacious room that worked well for a family of four. Standard wasn’t great but good enough for our three nights. The cons were that traffic is quite busy outside so there are a lot of city sounds even nighttime. You will also see a lot of street people in the area. No one bothered us the least but if...
