Awesome location at Otsego Resort! Ski in, ski out! Just renovated and updated!

  • 2 room suite with lockout door, awesome view and private main entrance! Breathtaking views from this ski in/ski out unit of the golf course/ski hill/lodge. Front portion of condo is well equipped with a murphy bed, queen sofa sleeper and a nice kitchenette area with microwave/toaster oven/mini fridge/dishes/utensils etc. Back portion of condo is also nicely equipped; 2 queen beds, tv, microwave, mini fridge. Literally walk out the door, click on your skis and ski down into the valley! Very comfortable property in a top notch location! Come make some memories at the White Birch Inn! The resort as well as our building have decor typical of a ski lodge. If you are Looking for something super modern you may be happier at another property!

Golfing and Elk viewing

We had a great time, perfect place to stay for some golfing and we were able to go see some elk in the pigeon river state forest.

Great place for a ski weekend

We enjoyed our stay at Otsego. The rental was clean and the location was great for ski in/out. The owner was very attentive to our needs. Highly recommend at stay at this property.

Great place and location

This was our second time staying here for a ski weekend and it was great, as expected. The room had everything we needed for the weekend, was clean and ready for us at check in. The room is in a great location for easy access to skiing. Will likely be back and hopefully can rent again!

Golf getaway

The property was very good for 4 people and a nice location to the town and access to restaurants, and close proximity to golf courses. The restaurant at the lodge was never open while we were there so we had to go to town for all our meals which was the only negative. Overall a very nice stay.

We were here for a family wedding in Gaylord so really just needed a place to sleep. Property was just as listed and reasonably priced.

Keep group size in mind

No closet or dresser space in front bedroom and minimum storage in back bedroom. Expect to live out of your suitcases.

Wow!!! LOVE THIS PLACE !

My husband and I are two children staying for a long holiday weekend. We had an amazing time. Our room was in the prime location, very easy to walk to Otsego resort ( just steps away)! I loved walking over every morning and getting a coffee from the coffee shop! We did have snow in our room was plowed right up to our back door, which was awesome!!! The room was very clean, the host was very responsive to all of my questions!! Highly recommend staying here. We will definitely be back!!! This is a great location whether you’re going in the summer for golf for the winter for skiing.

We stay at Mr Wonboy's every year

We have started a bit of a tradition to come up one weekend in Jan/Feb over the last few years. We have stayed in this unit twice now and it might be the best unit in the building. Its right on the corner, the shortest walk to the ski lodge and the lifts/slopes. The sledding hill is also just outside and there's a bar on both sides of the building for after hours. The hills are all on the easier side so its a great place for people to learn to ski/snowboard and the back slopes are fun for more advanced riders (and there's a bar/lodge at the bottom of the hill).

Great Location - Older Facilities

The location was great...the listing called it ski in/ski out--not accurate. You might be able to ski with poles out but definitely walk back. The unit was older and the beds were uncomfortable--the one off the kitchen was hard. Also the heat needs serious repair--every time it kicks on it sounds like a lawn mower starting up...it wakes you up every cycle. Bath in main unit was off kitchen--strange location. TV service was great- water was hot for showers and good pressure. Coffee machine broken- also would be nice to supply coffee. Sum it up-- if you are looking for the very basic place well located you found it--but it you were hoping for a good night sleep some amenities - move on.

This was a family reunion with my two sisters, my brother and myself. I thought this was a two bedroom needless to say I didn't read it thoroughly. It is two hotel rooms connected as a two room unit. It had two beds in one room. The other was a pullout couch and a murphy bed, It was awkward as there wasn't any privacy. The beds were very hard and worn out. None of us slept well. The murphy bed didn't have a latch attaching it to the wall. There wasn't a stove so we couldn't cook. There were two bags of trash at the front door when we arrived. The resort is the old Hidden Valley. It is a beautiful resort they are in the process of updating. We will stay at the resort again however not in this unit. It needs some TLC.

The condo is lovely and clean. A little drop of Colorado in the middle of Gaylord, MI. The check-in process was simple, and the replies to our communication with the host were prompt. We stayed here for Father’s Day weekend with our two grown sons and enjoyed some breathtaking views on the golf course! Our only tip if you are considering this rental would be to contact the Otsego Resort (in which this condo is located) to check on the available current amenities. The pool is currently out-of-order, with algae and sludge (unlike the photo in the condo ad), and the on-site restaurant was closed. I would come again, but would specifically check on these things first. Downtown Gaylord is cute, with a couple good restaurants and shops. Overall we were grateful to have this time together as a family! We couldn’t use the electric fireplace and the tv at the same time or the power would blink on and off.

The host was friendly, but they have a problem with the electricity. You simply can't use two appliances at the same time because the power goes out, and you have to go outside to reset the circuit breaker every time this happens. Considering that in winter, if there's no electricity, there's no heating, it's quite annoying.

Excellent location

We were in Gaylord for a wedding at Soneshine Barn. We couldn't have been any closer unless you were staying at the venue (Barn). The view is nice. Def roomy enough for the 4 of us, but there were only 3 coffee cups in the unit. also wish there had been paper towels
