âWe had a lovely stay at this hotel and really couldnât fault it all. The staff were lovely, warm, friendly, very kind & obliging, the room had all the facilities you needed, was very clean, quiet and had fabulous views. The food in the restaurant was very good & offered a nice selection. The continental breakfast was perfect (muesli, granola, mixed berries, yoghurt etc - all my favourite things) & they even provided oatmilk. Above all that it was exceptional value, so weâll definitely come again...
âWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was spotless and had all the facilities we could possibly ask for including a secure private garden section with decking area, perfect for the dogs. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, all consisting of excellent locally sources ingredients expertly cooked. The property was conveniently located a short drive from Chatsworth House, Bakewell and a number of other tourist attractions. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again or to recommend to others.â

Utöver detta var servicen av kvĂ€llspersonalen perfekt och vi kunde inte kĂ€nt oss mer nöjda efter kvĂ€llens besök i restaurangen! Vi besökte Ă€ven den nĂ€rliggande spa-anlĂ€ggningen, men det var inte heller nĂ„got att hĂ€nga i granen - överpris för en minimal pool, fotbad som inte fungerade och tre bastu...

It is a beautiful old building, which has been thoughfully modernised inside.
Our room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom had a good shower, with plenty of hot water. It was also surprisingly quiet, for being in a town, with the occasional call of a pair of tawny owls.
The staff were absolutely great, and very efficiently with their service.
Breakfast was superb, with a menu to suit everyone.
Don't be put off by the hotel not serving evening...

"Otroligt centralt hotel mitt i Sheffields stadskÀrna. Trevlig och tillmötesgÄende personal. Mycket fint och tyst hotellrum, finns ingenting att klaga pÄ. Toppen betyg pÄ detta hotell. Kommer definitivt vÀlja detta hotell igen om jag behöver bo pÄ hotell nÀr jag Àr i Sheffield och hÀlsar pÄ familj. "
"Very inconvenient that the taxi booked by the reception (which they had written on a big note that they offered) only took cash, and didn't say so until the end of the trip. Otherwise all good. "
"The location was great and the staff tried hard, however, everything else was only just okay. The door lock system does not work well with you having to replace the keys frequently. Also, all the public areas are too small. The worst was getting into the breakfast room there were queues and some days impossible to get in."
