"The room was very dated, but it was also Clean. It was a good size room. The refrigerator was VERY LOUD, it was a "cannot sleep through" loud. Instructions on the AC instructed occupier to leave fan on to cover the loud refrigerator noise. My suggestion is for the owner to get a quieter refrigerator, or the occupant unplug the refrigerator at night, but to run one loud item to drown out another loud item seems silly.
