âGreat little comfortable place to stay. Everything explained! Second time I've stayed here and wouldn't hesitate to return. Local roads are a bit dodgy!â
âLovely food, great service. Room was clean, thankfully had a fan in the room as it was such a hot day/night. Very quiet in the respect of pub noise, couldn't be heard. Unfortunately there is a very noisy extractor fan, but that did get turned off at around 10.30. But it was back on at 6.30 this morning. Breakfast was really nice. Little water bottles in the room nice touch, but cold ones would be better. Perfect poached eggs.â
âMade to feel very welcome and hotel kindly arranged a late check-in without fuss. The room was comfy and clean and the breakfast first class. Nothing was too much trouble. Hotel is in a super location on the bridge with views of the river and just a short walk to shops and amenities. Very friendly - will always go back when visiting Thetford area.â
âSingle room for 1 night, a bit cosy but the price was unbeatable. Quiet, clean, comfy bed, good shower amenities, easy parking, polite staff, good wifi.
Only improvement I can suggest is to put a darker curtain as quite a bit of light goes through during summer.â
âBoth the chord for the window blind and the light in the bathroom had snapped off. You had to be a least 5 foot tall to turn it on. I had to pull the bed out to plug my bedside lamp in. There were not enough electrical points in the room.
They were not doing breakfasts either which was disappointing. The overall appearance would be described as tatty especially the bathroom with tatty paint work on the door surrounds and radiator.
The shower was good the beds clean and the towels were fresh.â
âNice room and a good area but there is three floors with no lift. I lived on the top floor and it got really hot so I had to sleep with the windows open and a fan on as there is no ac. â
âI have stayed here before so knew what to expect, it has different proprietors but was better to be honest than last time which wasnât bad anyway, it was just better this time!â

âA calm but rather big hotel 6 km out of Norwich. Very helpful staff but with an accent you just can't understand as a foreigner. But no problem with that. Everything is at place and no need to have long conversations. :-)
Nice full breakfast included and I had a beer and a goat cheese tartelette in the evening which tasted rather nice.â
