The hotel is beautiful, the delicious breakfast overlooking the river and the dinner in the bush were unforgettable experiences. Guide and tracker team was also great, very friendly and knowledgeable. ”

Only kind of negative thing was that in the winter climate (as Swede it feels weird to call it winter when it is 15 degrees outside though) it became a bit too cold to sit outside during the dinner, maybe it was a temporar solution. The hotel can be recommended if you are aiming for a safari stay in Kruger Park.”

“We had three lovely days at Needles Lodge. The lodge is a nice place to stay at and the service is good from the team. Lovely dinners with good company from Colin the manager. We got also a lot of info about the animals and the nature from Colins who is well experienced. We did one day in the Kruger park with a booked tour and the next day with our own car, a good mix. When driving in the local Marloth park there is also a lot of animals. if you are out in the morning or late afternoon.”

“Great place to stay, wildlife around the hotel. A little tough to find, a sign or two would help. Be forewarned, the power goes out frequently in the area so bring a canlde or two. The main hotelhas a back up generator as well.”
