“This property was in a very quiet and rural place, which is exactly what we wanted, to be near wildlife and nature. The housecwas very clean and had everything one needed to make the stay comfortable. Chantal the owner kept great communication with me and even got us discounts at various excursions! The housekeeper Ingrid was very welcoming and came to meet us even though we got late arriving! Will recommend to everyone and will hopefully be going back again. ”

“The hotel is rustic and the staff is very friendly and the room was clean. Is a good spot to BBQ as a self-catering unit, since the grill is right outside the room. Excellent breakfast and attentive staff. Cold beers and hot chips at the patio bar. The location is optimal for visits to Kruger NP via the Punda Maria gate.”

Perfect location if you're in town to visit Kruger. The park is steps away from the location and the Crocidle Gate is only 15 mins away via car. Hosts are knowledgeable about activities in the park and outside the park. Everything you will need is at your disposale. A+”

“Great hotel! Nice safaris, good food, comfortable beds. Harry provides excellent service! The only minus as I see it is a little greed and they are happy to charge a little extra for everything. E. g. I paid transfer for two (since I was traveling alone) even though the driver was staying at the airport to pick another company up an hour later. Also, internet is really expensive and only works every other day, but I guess that's what to expect out in the bush.”

“Waterbuck Lodge is a small, intimate lodge with only four rooms. Our room was beautifully appointed. The bedroom is sizeable, with a very large comfortable bed. There is plenty of storage space (both hanging and shelving), a dressing table and an armchair. There is a small safe in the wardrobe to keep your valuables secure.
