Perfekt för familjen
Vi reste ett par med en tonårsdotter i slutet på juli och det var fantastiskt. Som en all-inclusive resort är det mycket bra med bra variation på mat och dryck. Det finns flera restauranger att äta på, både vid lunch och middag. Möjligheten att välja mellan att bada i pool eller på hotellets egen strand är perfekt. Området runt hotellet är lite tråkigt, med mindre hotell och butiker och en hel del trafik. Men det spelar inte så stor roll, om man håller sig till anläggningen.

Good hotel
Good hotel and great personnel, fun activities every day, close to Heraklion and Knossos by bus. The hotel were taking good care of the local stray cats by having a special place to feed them. The negative things was that there were not so much to see close to the hotel and parts of the hotel were a bit wore down, but overall it was a really good hotel. Do recommend it.

Hotel magnifique, restauration variée avec plusieurs choix à toute heure de la journée, le personnel est vraiment très gentil et fait de son mieux pour mettre à l'aise, communiquer et nous faire passer un moment inoubliable. On sent que Les Crétois sont de nature très gentils, généreux à tous les niveaux et partagent le peu qu'ils ont. On se sent en sécurité dans un climat de bienveillance.

Sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Das Essen war sehr gut und abwechslungsreich. Der Strand ist sehr schön und sauber. Wir konnten schon vier Stunden früher einchecken und auch am letzten Tag nach dem auschecken noch alles nutzen und bekamen vor der Fahrt zum Flughafen nochmal die Möglichkeit uns zu duschen und frisch zu machen. Insgesamt können wir das Hotel nur empfehlen.

Die Anlage macht echt was her. Es wird auf die Umwelt geachtet (Plastikreduktion, Mülltrennung und ein eigener Garten, indem Früchte etc angebaut werden). Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und hörlich. Das Essen ist lecker und frisch. Der Strand ist auch schön und lädt zum schwimmen und tauchen ein (Allerdings sollte man Wasserschuhe mitbringen, da es Seeigel gibt). Alles in allem ein super Hotel. Ist auch immOktober noch gut zu jesuchen. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Beautiful resort. The staff we're unfailingly friendly and attentive. The accommodation was clean, really comfortable and we were lucky enought to enjoy a beach view from our balcony. The quality of the food however was the real highpoint. Breakfast, lunch and evening meals were consistently outstanding with an enormous amount of choice. I loved the Cretan table in particular which was always loaded with the most amazing traditional Greek produce. I'd highly recommend Agapi Beach Resort, it really was impossible to find fault with anything.

Renovierungsbedürftig/ Schimmel in der Dusche
Leider total überpreist, haben altes Zimmer im Holzstil der 80er bekommen, nur eine Steckdose im Zimmer - die am Zentralen Ausschalter hängt, somit kein Handyladen bei Verlassen des Zimmers. Haben Doppelbett gebucht, zwei Einzelbetten erhalten. Wozu buche ich ein Doppelbett, Matratze total halt, habe den Federkern gespührt - somit kein erholsamer Schlaf möglich, Bad winzig und Die Fugen in der Dusche verschimmelt - blöd wann man eine Schimmelallergie hat… Strand ist sehr schön und gepflegt, Essen durchschnittlich, konnten eine Nacht in einer Taverne außerhalb des Hotels ohne Mehrkosten essen- das war gut. Expedia VIP Status kannte man nicht- obwohl damit bei Buchung geworben, keine der geworbenene Vorteile erhalten. Aufgrund des hohen Preises und schlechtem Basics (wie Zustand der Zimmer, Betts und Bad) kann ich das Hotel nicht empfehlen

Amazing resort for food lovers
Had a great stay at Agapi. The amenities were fantastic and location was great. The food was incredible and the selection was massive. Every day at the buffet there was a new variety of local foods so you never got bored of the same thing. The rooms were a bit outdated and not the most comfortable but the rest of the resort made up for the room quality.

The hotel has covered everything that you’d need for your stay. Little things such as supplying beach towels, daily bottled water and free use of room safe, these all make a difference when staying at a hotel. There are plenty of pools, sun beds, and sitting areas for sunbathing to choose each day if you don’t go onto their private beach. A lovely stay for our wedding anniversary!

My stay was a week. Due to high occupancy in the standard rooms, we were upgraded to a bungalow in the best location, two minutes from the beach and the quietest pool on the doorstep. The staff was very friendly and helpful. In each case I ordered the transfer through the hotel and was able to greet the same friendly gentleman in his taxi. It was cleaned every day and a lot of attention was paid to it. The rooms were generally rather noisy and so you could hear the early cleaning in the neighboring room. But that didn't really bother us as we were always outside by the sea. The food was good overall, but of course only of average standard. Everything was included in the price and you were full. The Spa was excellent! Would definitely come again.

The property was really crowded. The room was kind of small and the beds were separate. The shower made a mess because it was not fully enclosed. At the beach it really hard to find beach chairs where to sit. At the restaurant, because it’s an all inclusive, the food was just average at best. For dinner you had choice between chicken legs, flaky fish, pasta with Bologna’s sauce , and potatoes prepared 4 different ways and white rice. The food was plain.

The room and bathroom were cleaned. The area where our room was was quiet, so we enjoyed restful nights. The furniture is older but it is maintained and nothing was broken.

Struttura eccellente. Pulizia ottima e personale gentile ed efficiente. Main restaurant self-service ottimo. Non consiglio invece il ristorante Italiano “Piazza Italia” per il servizio lento e per la cucina non soddisfacente. Il mare non è dei migliori, spiaggia come tante e mare sempre mosso per la presenza di vento costante.

As other reviewers mentioned, rooms in main building are very outdated. Ants found in bathroom and the furniture is 90’s. They need to update that. Besides that overall it was good. The a la carte restaurant both were disappointing. The food was not tasty at all (so don’t bother. Just go to the main buffet) but the service was great. Beach access is one big plus for the hotel and close to the city which was conveninent.

Truly amazing staff, from cleaners, concierge, waiters and bartenders. Buffet was amazing, great variety and well prepared dishes. Bars had good choices for included and not included cocktails. Beach and surroundings were great. Spa service was excellent.
