Jättebra läge med fin utsikt över havet, väldigt bra när man har hyrt bil, enkelt med parkering. Gott om restauranger i närheten. Mycket bra frukost med jättebra service. Ordning och reda, känns som ett mycket tryggt hotell. Men man måste vara medveten om att det blåser ganska mycket hele tiden.

Lovely hotel, but no air con
The hotel was very clean, nicely decorated, modern and served a good breakfast each morning. However, our trip was sadly ruined because the day before we got there, the air con was turned off and the hotel said it would not be turned back on. It was still 27 degrees in the day and the nights were unbearable. My husband and I barely slept a wink for the whole week as there was no air in the hotel room. I was in the early stages of pregnancy so this made my morning sickness even worse. If we had been informed that there wouldn’t be any air con, then we would have booked a different hotel.

This was a return stay for us at the Cactus hotel. We paid for an upgrade to a Premium room on arrival and we felt it was worth it. Staff all very friendly and helpful. We were in room 526 which had a sea view and we loved watching the cruise ships from our balcony arriving/leaving port. If you want evening sunshine request a pool view room which looks over the sea too. Only slight negative was that the glass screen of the shower needs to have a door as the water tended to spray out when in use and soaked the bathroom floor but not a major problem. Breakfast was usual buffet and you could eat on the terrace if you choose to. Lovely quiet clean hotel which we would happily return to again.

Excellent location. Across from main beach of rhodes and 15 minute walking distance from Old Town (great for dinners, drinks and shopping). Room was clean and in good condition. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a large variety of options, although the eggs were bland during our stay. Beach towels provided by hotel, required to leave a 10 euro deposit per towel which you got back upon returning the towels. Could only refresh the beach towels twice a week, my partner and I stayed for 5 nights and used the same beach towels during our stay. Overall good value for money and would recommend to others.

What an amazing find! Great location, opposite the beach, stayed in room 609 and had a majestic view and the woman in the reception when I arrived at 7pm was lovely. I wish I stayed longer!

Brot, Käse, Aufstriche sind gut, allerdings schaut die warme Speisenecke wie Spiegelei, Eierspeise, Bohnen etc. extrem unappetitlich aus. -: Ich schreibe eigentlich selten Hotel Bewertungen, aber hier muss es einfach sein. Zuerst einmal ACHTUNG! Es gibt einen EXTREMEN Unterschied zwischen einem Standard Zimmer und einem Superior Zimmer. Das Superior Zimmer ist ein Traum, das Standard Doppelzimmer eine Katastrophe. Wir kamen an und es waren Schimmel im Bad, ein großer schwarzhaariger Haarknäuel mit Staub verfangen lag neben unserem Bett und die Möbel riechen modrig. Daraufhin sind wir zur Dame an der Rezeption mit Brille und den lockigen blonden Haaren gegangen, um dies mitzuteilen. Seitdem hat uns diese Frau gehasst. Kein Entschuldigung für das unsaubere Zimmer, auch kein ‚Hallo‘ , ‚Guten Morgen‘ oder sonstiges mehr die nächsten Tage. Sie war einfach nur extrem unfreundlich zu uns und hat uns mit einem bösen Blick angeschaut. Wie unprofessionell kann man sein? Die Putzfrau war hingegen so so lieb und hat sich beim Putzen unseres Zimmers in den nächsten Tagen besonders Mühe gegeben und war einfach extrem herzig. Alles in allem, werden wir nie mehr wieder in dieses Hotel kommen. Es ging in erster Linie jetzt gar nicht mehr um das Zimmer oder um das Essen, sondern wir haben uns sehr unwohl gefühlt, da die Rezeptionistin sowas unfreundliches war.
