A one night hotel
The room was olay but when we arrived the receptionist told us that the room would be ready in about 1 hour and when we went to check they hadn't even started cleaning it. The cleaning lady did a good job but she left dirty washcloths on the bed and was pretty rude. The location is far away from everything, it took about 25 minutes to walk to the city and with a lot of hills. But it's okay for 1 night only.

Trevligt familje hotell
Hotellet var ett liten fint hotel mend rean och välstädade rum. En liten pool men väldigt litet badrum. Det hade vissa möjligheter att göra t.ex frukust själv men ingen spis eller micro.

Genuine hospitality
This is a small family run hotel, it's located sort of on the lower side of thira, if you can say that. So the city centre is a walk uphill. But as you are walking you can enjoy the beautiful view overlooking the ocean and Santorini. You get the sense that their warmth and hospitality is genuine and there is a caring more so than you normally find in larger hotels. Enjoyable stay indeed.

Mycket lugnt o tyst i mysig miljö. Inte så långt till centrum ca 10 min med lite uppförsbacke men inte farligt! Vänlig o trevlig personal och hjälpsam med information om sevärdheter!

I thought the accommodation was exclusive to what we wanted. Very relaxing. Hot tub was relaxing loooking out to the sea view. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly and kept us posted. Beds were made everyday and we always came back to a tranquil, clean room. Reception manager was also very helpful on sharing information in regards to excursions. Hotel was a bit of a walk from the centre but many little shops to visit on the way. There is a slightly steep incline hill before you reach the main road which people with any difficulties should consider. Although we found if you walk under the bridge, there is a lovely walkway all the way to the town centre avoiding all traffic. A beautiful place to stay would definitely recommend.

Cet hôtel était parfait pour nos besoins . Très silencieux, pas si loin du centre, meme s'il faut marcher 5 minutes. Le personnel est courtois et rapide . Par exemple , nous avons demandé a louer un quad , et en vingt minutes , il était a la porte ! Et pour moins cher que sur la rue ou internet ! La chambre était assez spacieuse et jolie . La piscine fut bien agréable apres une journée au soleil . Il y a de l'eau en bouteille et de la bière sur place a bon prix, un marché tout près aussi .

朝1番のバスは乗って空港へ向かいましたが、フィラバスターミナルまで約10分の立地ということもあり、不便には感じませんでした。 レストラン、お土産店街とも近く困ることはありませんでした。

Great place a little downhill from Fira
Great wifi, good AC, wonderful staff that can help book tours, and very quiet area. The bathroom is extremely small, and water goes everywhere when you shower, but we showered at night and they clean the room every day so it wasn’t too bad.

Extremely small bathroom only issue
Nice stay, located about a ten minutes walk from the city center. I liked the sofa and dining table set up. The room was large, which was a benefit. The downside is the extremely small bathroom. There is practically no space for the toilet. A large or tall person would have great difficulty with it. Even for a thin person, just standing by it, you’ll have your left foot in the shower, and the right hip next to the sink. The shower is extremely small, and I found it a bit dangerous; it’s rather slippery. Due to its very compact size, not only did the shower curtain stick to me while showering, but the bathroom also floods from the shower. Not the fault of the hotel, but taxis won’t drop you off at its door. It leaves you at the entrance to the street above it; the street leading to the hotel is steep in areas. Other than the extremely small bathroom, and the taxi situation, the place is nice.

Humble & Cozy
My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay here! The room was pretty cozy and I loved the vibe. The host & housekeeper were super sweet, friendly, & kind. We definitely would stay here again. I would say it’s about 10-15 walk from the hotel to the main town. Regardless, the daily walk to the town was nice. Overalls there were no problems. It was a pleasant stay at Galatia!
