Beauty at the Port
This place was a the perfect ending to our trip to Greece. The apartment was just so beautiful, it was spacious and had every thing we needed. We loved sitting on the balcony enjoying the sunrises and sunsets. Xanthi was a super host. She met us at the port and helped us settle into her place. We would love to have stayed longer.

A perfect place in a perfect location
It is difficult to know where to start, everything was so perfect. To start with, Xanthi met us at the apartment and oriented us to the apartment and Heraklion. The apartment is decorated nicely and is well supplied. The view from the balcony is unbelievable. We spent many hours enjoying the view and Crete weather. Just a short walk up the street is something for everybody. (Souvenir shops, wonderful restaurants, department stores, and boutique clothing and shoe stores) The timing of our next trip to Crete will be determined by the availability of this apartment.

Just wonderful!
Communication with host was easy, she promptly responded to all my calls, the apartment was clean, oozing of charm, had everything we needed and more, from the toast and jams, coffee and teas she left for us, as well as all the original artwork everywhere, not one thing else was necessary. The apartment is much cuter than the photos. I wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you for sharing with us.

The host Xanthi is lovely. So positive and helpful.
Unfortunately her apt is on a very noisy street where the street life goes late into the night. However on a good note if you close the doors & windows tight it really reduces the noise. I am hoping that for future guests Xanthi buys a new mattress otherwise the apt. Is very well appointed

Thanks for your suggestion, Charlotte! I am already doing a research for a mattress comfortable pretty much to everyone, that's too important and I didn't know until you mentioned that. Sorry if it was noisy, these used to be normal streets with a lot of traffic in the past, so now that they are pedestrian areas only every other noise that comes from people probably doesn't seem important in comparison, I wish I could do something about it but it's beyond my control. I appreciate your review, it will guide me to the right changes which I do regularly to improve my guests' stays. You were wonderful guests, thanks for looking after my apartment .
