Choose another hotel...
Travelled around on Crete for one week and this was the only place we were disapointed with. We never complained to the staff because we stayed only one night. + Good breakfast + Good location if you want to stay in the city. + Good AC. - Complicated with the parking even if you pay for it. - Almost rude staff in the reception and they are not service minded at all and ignored us. Didnt feel welcome at all. - Dirty floor in the room. - The room needs to be re-painted. Scratches and the paint was gone on the wall. I dont recommend this place. Choose another place!!

Ett gulligt hotell som ligger nära alla Heraklions affärer och matställen. Nära till busstationen så bekvämligt att ta buss att fara någonstans.

Ett hotell som inte riktigt lever upp till sin målsättning. Hårda sängar o små rum. Detta hotell valde vi för läget; nära bussterminal o hamn. Frukostbuffen överraskade positivt. Samt att vi fick checka in 10.00 på ankomstdagen

Nära venetianska fortet, jhamnen och shopping
Fantastisk frukost buffé i takvåningen med utsikt över hamnen och havet. Bra läge på promenadavstånd till arkeologiska museet, shopping områden, restauranger och venetianska fortet. Personalen hjälpte till med parkering av bilen i den trånga gamla stan.

Mycket bra läge, nära till centrum, busstation och flygplats. Rent och snyggt, trevlig personal. Fick tidig frukost. Den var ingen höjdare, men bra att det gick att få. Kommer troligen att boka hotellet igen när jag är på Kreta.

In a great location, very handy for the archaeological museum & close to the port & the bus station. Excellent Cretan restaurant (Plani) 3 minutes walk. The room was a bit small, but the bed was enormous. There was very little storage in the room.

Few disappointed in our stay at Marin hotel. There was no parking on-site. You must park at nearest city parking location and walk to hotel. This wouldn’t be bad except there isn’t a place to drop luggage before parking. Once in the unit AC was not working (they promptly corrected). The shower had mold/mildew on walls. We advised the staff and they sent someone to clean the next morning. Next shower it was back. Gave up on having this corrected. Staff was very nice in saying they would send someone to re-clean, unfortunately I think the exhaust fan was not operational in the bathroom. After booking this room in February, I read this same issue happened in other rooms.

Lovely hotel located at walking distance to the port, tourist area and the bus stop to the airport. I travelled single, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable, perhaps the shower on the small side but I am not big either :). Good breakfast with a view. Friendly, helpful staff. THANK YOU!

This place was worse than a Motel 6 in the US. There was black mold in the shower, and the lighting in the room was dim like in a horror movie. You could also hear people talking in the hallways and going in and out of their rooms. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Staff was very helpful, both at front desk and at breakfast. Location was good for us - close to shopping and to the ferries. Only downside is that the rooms are very small. family room had 3 beds and very little floor space.
