semester i juni
Sofia var gästvänlig, hon bjöd på kaffe och muffins när vi kom till hotellet. Mycket välskött hotell, rent och välstädat och mängder med blommor på terrasser och utanför. Det fanns värdeförvaringsskåp på rummet. Sängarna riktigt sköna för att vara Grekland. Frukosten åt vi ute på terrassen och Sofia och hennes barnbarn Sofia såg till att vi fick allt vi behövde, yoghurt med honung, kokta ägg, rostat bröd mm. Ett så rofullt och tyst område fast vi var mitt i Gamla stan.

jättefint pensionat med vänlig värdinna. bra sängar. kylskåp och vattenkokare är alltid bra! lugnt och skönt område ett stenkast från alla restauranger och gamla stan shopping.

Perfekt service och bra läge i gamla staden Prova gärna veg-restaurangen som ligger vid den öppna platsen framför hotellet

Underbart pensionat med bra läge
Underbart litet pensionat med några få rum, bra och väldigt lugnt läge i gamla stan. Nära till allt, mataffär och restauranger runt hörnet. Terasserna gav oss möjlighet till sol, skugga, och härlig avkoppling utomhus hela dagen. Ägarinnan Sofia gjorde vår vistelse väldigt trivsam och fick oss att känna oss som hemma.

Varmt och personligt bemötande i Rhodos gamla stad
Sofia Pension ligger mycket centralt i gamla stadsdelen i Rhodos stad. Fint rum, frukost på terrass under vinrankor. Det finns ytterligare en terrass högst upp där man kan njuta av kvällens svalka. Sofia och hennes man ger ett mycket personligt och varmt bemötande. Frukosten är utsökt och riklig. Vi blev skjutsade till båten . Fin service.

Vindruveklasorna hänger från taket
Sofia Pension ligger beläget centralt i Old Town, eller möjligen om man ska vara riktig kanske ynka 100m vid sidan om den absoluta pulsen. Det gör det hela extra avkopplande. Värdparet är oerhört hjälpsamma. Man känner sig som en ombonad kunglighet från antiken att få bo här. Det märks att de lägger ned mycket kärlek i byggnaden. Det går inte att undgå vindruveklasorna i mängder som hänger ned från taket vid gångarna med öppet tak. Det finns dessutom en helt öppen terass på taket som man kan sitta vid och beskåda stjärnorna in på sentimmarna om man så vill, samtidigt som man hör sorlet från Old Town. Supermarketen är bara ett stenkast ifrån hotellet. De gemensamma sittplatserna utanför rummen hotellet gör också att det är lätt att socialicera sig med andra hotellgäster.

Nära till allt i gamla stan
Vi hade inte setts på nära 10år jag och min vän. Vi bestämde att boka en resa till Rhodos för att lära känna varandra på nytt. Detta blev kanske den bästa resan jag har åkt på i mitt liv. Ett ord kan man sammanfatta resan med och det är Kärlek. Vi dansa på taket, sov på Rhodos stränder, byggde stenslott under månljus. Vi passa även på att se 7 springs och åka Rhodos runt. 7 springs med den "hemliga" tunneln var jätte häftigt och efter det får man svalka sig i en liten mini sjö. Som sagt Rhodos gjorde ett stort intryck på oss. Alla var så trevliga och hjälpsamma. Frukosten åt vi under vinrankor på Sofias pensionat. Sofia är en underbar dam som hjälper till med så mycket som möjligt. Så söker ni kärlek och vänskap så passa på åk till Rhodos!

Utmärkt boende!
Jättetrevligt boende mitt i gamla stan. Nära till det mesta, dock en bit att promenera till stranden. Mysigt hotell som har det man behöver. Vi köpte frukost på hotellet och denna var helt ok. Yoghurt, bröd, juice, kaffe, te, ägg mm. Jag skulle absolut bo där igen!

Den var mycket bra, Sophia är en gammal helt igenom trevlig dam som älskar att pyssla med sitt och makens hotell. Mycket bra betyg får den veckans vistelse hos Sophia

Charming, peaceful, kindest service
This place is a gem! Location is quiet, yet in the center of old town. The place itself is beautiful and peaceful - full of flowers and plants and the rooftop terrace has amazing views over old town. And Mrs. Sofia herself and her helper is so kind and helpful in every way. Everything was well organized. We felt so wellcome and enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

The location of this hotel is amazing!! It's right in the centre of the beautiful medieval city of Rhodes. There are many restaurants, cafes, and bars nearby, but this hotel is just far enough away that you're not disturbed by any noise. The property is pretty and quaint. The people who run it are lovely, friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this little family run hotel.

A gem in the old town.
After visiting Rhodes about ten times over the last 39 years (!) we finally discovered this wonderful hotel less than 150 metres from the main shopping area, tavernas and bars, and really wish we had found it years ago. From the start, communication was superb, with almost instant replies to our questions. Late check in was explained perfectly, though in the end not necessary as the taxi driver let us in, and even carried our bags up to the room! We asked them to arrange a taxi to take us from the airport to the hotel inside the city walls and they arranged that wonderfully. Moses was brilliant (it's worth booking him just for the ride through the narrowest streets ever, packed with shoppers and merchandise!) The room was clean and very attractive, the bed comfortable and, as everyone mentions, contains a refrigerator, which is a fabulous touch. Breakfast is well worth the price, and the lady serving us (who also cleaned the rooms) was wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. In order to provide balance we should, I suppose, mention the only negative - the towels are as scratchy as hell. There, that's it. Nothing else. From now on, this is the only place in Rhodes Town that we would ever consider staying, thank you so much for everyone for making our holiday one of the best ever.

Odalar temiz ve her gün düzenli temizleniyor. Rodos Old Town içinde yer alan otele her yer yürüme mesafesinde. Otele çok yakın bir market de var. Sofia ve ailesi oldukça güler yüzlü ve yardımsever.

A wonderful and characterful property in the heart of the mediaeval old town of Rhodes, run by the pleasant and helpful Sofiya. I stayed for a week at the beginning of the season (arriving 28 March) and the only downside of staying that early in the year was that my room was rather cold during the first few days and there was no heating, but that wouldn't be a problem later in the Spring or in the Summer. Most taxi drivers are nor permitted to enter the narrow lanes of the old town but Sofiya can arrange for a local taxi driver with a permit to collect you from the airport.

A lovely small Pension
A lovely pension in the old city of Rhodes. Our room was very clean, light and was more than adequate for our needs. It even came with a fridge which was a bonus. We chose to have breakfast and were very happy we did so as we got to try Sofia's lovely homemade comquat jam. Sightseeing was very easy as the pension is in easy walking distance of most attractions.

Sofia's pension is in the heart of Rhodes Old Town, the perfect location near shopping and unforgettable sightseeing. Sofia is still the owner and continues to treat guests as friends in her home. The inn is a gardener's paradise, with blooming plants and vines, and the rooftop patio has views like no other. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the neighborhood is charming. For short stays of just a day or two, or longer stays like the one I've recently enjoyed, the quality and enjoyment of Sofia's pension can't be beat.

Sofia is a wonderful hostess and we enjoyed our breakfast on the terrace each morning. Sofia's Pension gives an authentic Old Town experience and is located minutes from the taxi stand, shopping and restaurants. You do have to walk with your luggage to get to there.

Très bon rapport qualité / prix - Je recommande
Séjour très agréable. Sofia pension est très bien situé au sein de la vielle ville. Comme la circulation est interdite dans l’enceinte de la vieille ville, le taxi appelle Sofia afin qu’elle nous attende au point de dépose pour nous montrer le chemin. La chambre et la salle de bain sont très propres. L’environnement est calme tout en étant proche des restaurants, rues commerçantes et monuments. Petit déjeuner copieux. Sofia est quelqu’un d’adorable et véritablement à l’écoute de ses clients.

The location in the old town is amazing. Very close to the Harbor as well. The place was very clean and the owner was a very nice lady. A little dated and only Luke warm Water in the am but lots of hot water in the evening. It was a was very nice to stay in a 9 unit place where the owner new everyone. The breakfast was perfect. We would Come back here again. Great restaurants close By.

Rodos Old City içerisinde. Konumu iyi. Otelin geneli ve odalar çok temiz. Bayan Sofia çok tatlı ve konuksever. Kahvaltısı yeterli. Biz iki gece konakladık ve kendimizi evimizde gibi hissettik. Fabulous ‘boutique’ accommodation in a quiet area of Old Town, near enough to the tourist ‘stretch’ to be convenient and far enough away from it to be peaceful. Easy walking access to the harbour (5 -10 mins) and beaches of Rhodes Town (20-30 mins). Sophia and her family were the perfect hosts: friendly and attentive without being ‘in-your-face’. The simple ‘Continental’ breakfast had a variety of local foods and provided an enjoyable and for-filling way to start the day. Locally there is an amazing Greek bakery and a must-visit Vegetarian/Vegan restaurant (To Marouli), amongst the standard Tavernas of Rhodes Town. Expect a warm and cordial Greek welcome with polite hospitality. The perfect accommodation for anyone wishing to experience Old Town Rhodes.

The owner (Sofia herself) was very kind and met me along the way to guide me to her pension, since the smaller streets of Old Town Rhodes can be confusing. Very accommodating, and allowed me to stay until lateen the afternoon on the day I flew out.

Pension typique à ne pas rater
Pension très bien située dans la vieille ville. Avons pris les petits déjeuners en terrasse pour 5 euros (par jour par personne) très complet. Horaires 8 H à 11 H très pratique. Sofia est très sympathique. Le ménage est fait tous les jours. Très bon séjour. Nous reviendrons sans hésitation.

A wonderful and relaxing stay. Sophia and her husband were welcoming and friendly. We started each day with the tasty and plentiful breakfast they provided for 5 euro extra. Breakfast was on a beatiful terrace a few steps from our room. Room was quiet, clean and spacious. The only negative i can thik of was the shower was a bit cramped. The pension is on a narrow cobbled street within the old city. The location was a few minutes walk from the centre of the old city and the waterfront but away from the crowds providing an atmosphere where you could imagine youself in the time the old city was new. Near many restaurants and the museums and shops in the old town and the new. I would choose this pension again if i return to rhodes.
