Hôte très agréable il nous a apporté une énorme moussaka fabuleuse. maison sympa, piscine et jardin au top ! Nous avons eu 3 jours de vent très très fort c'était gênant car énormément de bruit. Des plages à proximité mais pas possible avec le vent. Maison un peu isolée dans la colline donc SUPER CALME.

Short break
We had a wonderful time staying at the Villa Poseidon, fabulous villa, wonderful location, fantastic views and great communication with Nikos when we had a couple of issues. The pool area was great and cleaned daily, clean linen and towels were available on demand. Plakias village was an about a 5 minute drive and had everything you need with lots of tavernas to try and supermarkets, bakeries and meat market to stock up your supplies. All in all a super place to holiday

Schöne Außenanlage und tolle Lage
Die Außenanlage und der Blick auf die Berge ist wunderschön. Draußen sitzen, grillen und chillen war einfach toll. Alle drei bis vier Tage kam der Poolmann und reinigte den Pool. Man konnte ihn auch immer ansprechen, wenn etwas nicht funktionierte und er reparierte es sofort. Auch Nikos war telefonisch immer erreichbar und half, wo Hilfe nötig war. Am Kücheninventar fehlte es ein wenig - scharfe Messer, Brettchen, Schere, Grillzange, Schnapsgläser, Schüsseln haben wir gekauft und hoffen, dass sich die folgenden Gäste darüber freuen. Das Haus benötigt über das oberflächliche Putzen hinaus dringend eine Grundreinigung. Die Lage ist super: es ist nicht weit nach Plakias, zu wunderbaren Sandstränden und guten Tavernen. Alles in allem ein erholsamer, toller Urlaub.

Nice villa
We enjoyed our stay, although there were very windy days or very hot days. The villa is nice, but might be updated. The fridge, freezer and airconditioning were not always working, the bathrooms are quite old and the couch is not really comfortable to sit on. The swimming pool and sunbeds are perfect.

Amzing view, quiet location nearby everything you need
Nous avons passé 10 jours complètement relax. Nikos nous a super bien accueilli, plein de petites attentions et de bons conseils. Tout est prévu pour vous accueillir, de la bouteille de vin au café en passant par des fruits, du lait....la maison est spacieuse et la description conforme à la réalité. . Les salles de bains ne sont pas ultra moderne's et meriteraient un petit upgrade. Le canapé n'est pas le plus confortable. Les lits eux, ainsi que le linge de maison sont parfaits. La localisation ee la villa est top si vous chercher le calme. Les extérieurs sont magnifiques. La piscine est entretenue discrètement tous les 2 jours. A noter qu'il y a énormément de vent. Le seul point négatif selon nous est la propreté. Pas mal de poussière et ménage assez superficiel à notre arrivée mais rien de catastrophique. Nous recommandons la villa et le service de location de voiture associé.

Vielen Dank für den tollen Urlaub!
Sehr schöner Außenbereich, geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Haus. Zwei "kleine" Bäder für 6 Personen wären für unseren Geschmack etwas knapp, jedoch zu dritt völlig ausreichend. Das gesamte Team rund um die Vermietung war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Für die Gegend ist ein Mietwagen empfehlenswert. Mit dem Auto ca. 5 min entfernt befinden sich sehr gute Restaurants und schöne Strände. Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen!!!

Good but windy
Good property in a nice location. Was very windy when there which lasted the whole 14 days. A known phenomenon in the South. Was difficult to eat outside some evenings because of this. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Very good rental house
Beautiful villa, great pool. You just need to be aware that it is a very windy area; the house is well designed (walls protecting the pool) but you can’t eat outside or enjoy the lovely roof terras when the wind is blowing (which was more than half of our stay) I’d recommande to fix the showers which you have to operate by hand. But we had a wonderful time in this beautiful house The area is great ; Plakias is a lovely seaside village c, nice restaurants ; there are plenty of uncrowded beaches where the water is clear (great for snorkeling) Service is five star : immediate reply to all requests before and during the stay. A very good experience !

Well decorated villa
Very Nice villa. 10mm from a very beautiful beach (Damnoni), 20mm from Preveli monasterio and 10mm from shopping in Plakias. You can see some sheeps around near the villa. Nice place, well equipped : it's just missing some covered in the kitchen.

Great house for relaxing family vacations
Perfect location for exploring the area and beaches around Plakias. The house offers great views, a spacious pool and garden and all you need for relaxing vacations. It can get quite windy in that region but the garden offers sheltered areas.

Ruhige Lage
Das Haus entsprach der Beschreibung. Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Weit ab von allem Trubel der Touristenstädte, kann man hier herrlich entspannen und wieder "runter kommen". Der Kühlschrank war mit dem Nötigsten für die ersten Tage gefüllt. Das haben wir auch schon anders erlebt. Sowohl der Gebäudeservice, als auch die Vermietung konnten wir jederzeit kontaktieren, wenn es Probleme gegeben hätte. Die gab es aber nicht, so dass wir unsere Ruhe hatten. Jederzeit wieder.

Villa très propre et conforme à l’annonce
Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette villa. Très propre, l’installation s’est bien passée grâce à une communication fluide avec Valia et son équipe ! La villa est bien placé avec de très belles plages et randonnées tout autour. Beaucoup de vent dans cette partie de la crête mais l’agencement extérieur de la villa est bien pensé, avec des endroits très bien coupés du vent. Un wifi un peu plus performant aurait été un plus mais c’est un détail. Je recommande cette villa. Merci

Schöne Tage und schöne Villa ...
Die Villa selbst war sehr schön, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Schön angelegt, herrlich ruhig gelegen. Die Küchenausstattung könnte jedoch etwas besser sein. Leider waren wir im Juli dort, wo in der Region ziemlich viel Sturm herrscht, was wir nicht wussten und wohl unterschätzt haben. 85-120 km/h waren leider oft der Fall, was natürlich viel beeinträchtigt hat, von wegen draußen essen, etc. Als das Dach der oberen Veranda durch den Sturm teilweise einstürzte war sofort jemand vor Ort und hat sich um alles gekümmert. Egal wenn was war, es war immer sofort jemand da der sich gekümmert hat. Die Kommunikation mit der Agentur war ebenfalls top und total empfehlenswert!!! Danke liebe Valia!!! Die Villa würden wir wieder buchen -nur nicht mehr im Juli/August. Sie ist auf jeden weiterzuempfehlen. Wir haben trotz der vielen und sehr stürmischen Tage den Urlaub dort sehr genossen.

Excellent!
We had an excellent 1-week stay. The host was very attentive, kind and responded fast. A kind welcome present in form of a bottle of wine& fruit basket was much appreciated. The villa had a perfect size for our 3 generations (children, patents, grandparents). The children pool was an absolute hit and the reason for choosing this villa. Just remember to bring mosquito repellent😉one evening we had a private chef and it was really delicious local food and a very kind and informative chef.

Wunderschöne Villa
Das Urlaubsfeeling fing schon mit der Buchung und mit der Erstkommnikation mit Frau Valia Kokkinou an. Nach Ankunft auf Kreta setzte sich die hervorragende Betreuung durch Valia fort. Die Villa liegt wie versprochen sehr ruhig und man hat genügend Platz zum erholen und entspannen. Unsere Frühstück auf der Dachterrasse war mit Meer- und Bergblick. Der perfekte Start in den Tag. Der Poolbereich kann den ganzen Tag in der Sonnen genossen werden oder man liegt gemütlich im Schatten. Die Villa wurde zweimal in der Woche gereinigt. Das Serviceteam war sehr gründlich und sehr freundlich:-) Innerhalb von 10 Minuten sind mindestens 3 Strände mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Für wanderlustige Urlauber gibt sehr schöne Wanderrouten in der Umgebung. Wir waren als Gruppe von vier Erwachsenen für 12 Nächte in der Villa. Jeder von uns würde dieses Objekt wieder mieten.

A very pleasant and comfortable stay
The contact with Valia was exemplary. Villa Poseidon is a very nice and quiet stone house with a beautiful and large pool. On the left side there is another neighbouring villa, separated by a stone wall. The view goes unobstructed directly into the green with a small piece of sea. The equipment is very good (incl. washing machine and dishwasher) and all necessary kitchen utensils are also available. Many taverns and beaches are easy to reach by car. The 3 bedrooms are small, but big enough. The access roads are a bit bumpy, but easy to drive. We liked it very much. So we can definitely recommend Villa Poseidon. Sehr schönes Anwesen
Es ist ein sehr schönes Haus, alles sauber und in Ordnung, keinerlei Probleme. Mr. Antonis hat uns sehr gut Empfangen, bekamen eine Schale mit sehr leckeren Früchten und Wein zur Begrüßung. Pool wird 3x die Woche gereinigt, Bettwäsche und Handtücher gewechselt. War ein sehr angenehmer und schöner Aufenthalt. Jeder Zeit wieder. Danke. Torsten

Tolles Haus in ruhiger Lage mit grossem Pool
Positiv: ruhige Lage während unseres Aufenthaltes, geräumiges Haus, zwei Badezimmer, grosser und sauberer Pool, ganzes Haus mit Klimaanlagen ausgestattet, gepflegter Umschwung, Putzdienst in der Wochenmitte, jederzeit verfügbare Ansprechperson, in der Nähe von Einkaufs- und Einkehrmöglichkeiten. Negativ: Meerblick nur vom Balkon im 1. Stock, Doppelbett in einem der Zimmer relativ klein, Küche mit Ausstattung (Geschirr und Kühlschrank) bei Übernahme in nicht sehr sauberem Zustand, beschädigte Pfannen müssten ausgetauscht werden, Bodenheizung im kleinen Bad liess sich nicht ausschalten.

Entspannte Ferientage
Das Ferienhaus können wir (2 Erwachsene, 3 Kinder) uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Das Haus ist für die angegebenen sechs Personen ausreichend groß und sowohl im Innen- als auch Außenbereich sehr ansprechend. Hervorzuheben ist die Aussicht von dem Haus, hier entsprechen die Bilder vollends der Wirklichkeit, sowie der (Anfang Oktober schon recht frische) Pool. Die Umgebung ist landschaftlich reizvoll und die Tavernen der umliegenden Dörfer (Mariou, Mirthios, Asomatos und auch Lefkogia selbst) sind für eine Einkehr uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen). Die mit Abstand schönste Badebucht in der unmittelbaren Umgebung (ca. 3,5 km und eine sehr schöne Anfahrt) war nach unserem Dafürhalten die Schineria-Bucht. Hier waren einfach die wenigsten Touristen und man konnte auch sehr gut schnorcheln. Ein besonderes Lob geht an den Hausverwalter Yiannis, der bei unserer Ankunft im Dunkeln und Sturm mit einem Reifenplatten (Hier aufgepasst, die Straßen der unmittelbaren Umgebung sind in einem abenteuerlichen Zustand) sehr behilflich war, indem er beim Koffertransport und dem Kontakt zur Mietwagenfirma sehr behilflich war. Auch die Zwischendurchreinigungen des Mietobjektes mit Handtuch- und Bettwäschewechsel sind kein Standard und sollte hervorgehoben werden. So bleiben nur wenige to-dos, die den Aufenthalt nahezu perfekt gemacht hätten: Der Wind an manchen Tagen gehört wohl einfach dazu, hat aber wohl dazu beigetragen, dass die Möbel der Dachterrasse nicht nutzbar waren (Glasplatte des Tisches hat gefehlt). Und die Betätigung des Lichtschalters neben dem Bett in einem Schlafzimmer sorgt zuverlässig für einen Kurzschluss im gesamten Haus. Das sind aber beileibe nur Kleinigkeiten, die unseren durchweg positiven Gesamteindruck nicht getrübt haben. Wen also auch ein paar stürmische Tage nicht abschrecken, dem sei dieses Haus wärmstens empfohlen.

Lovely situation, all the amenities required for a lovely relaxing holiday, but seriously windy!
The villa is well equipped, the outside-space is lovely, the only fault was the pool side lighting which never came on before 2am, bit late for us I'm afraid! We did succumb to the August wind which made things tricky at times, breakfast the garden furniture blew away regularly but that's out of anyone's control. The village taverna and bar were really friendly, especially Stella who was so welcoming and generous. Plakias beach is lovely when it's not too blowy, plenty of reasons sunbeds and handy bars. The town is big enough for families with a range of restaurants and bars as well as a good butcher and baker. Stunning drive from the airport

The property was well equipped & efficiently serviced regularily.
The villa has lovely views of the dramatic mountain scenery & limited views of the sea. Any views from the bedrooms are restricted to the countryside and a distant mountain. The villa is adequately secure for your families quality free time. There is plenty of social space and is reasonably private with only a dozen villas in the immediate vicinity. A car is recommended to explore the island but the village is within a 10min walk with adequate provisions for items overlooked or a swift Raki before serving supper from the villas bbq. Unfortunately, games provided within the villa are limited to board or card games where ball games would be welcome. We enjoyed the beaches in the local vicinity providing an alternative to the pleasant 1.5m pool at the villa. The A/C was adequate to escape to intense heat when required and welcomed to achieve a restful night. My biggest concern was with the high winds with gusts up to 65km that moved furniture regularly during our stay, prevented us from using the large 1st flr balcony for 10 days and whistled and rattled the shutters preventing light sleepers to a restful snooze. We were unaware that Southern Crete regularily suffers from these seasonal high winds in summer and we needed to escape to the northern coast to find a more tranquil relaxation in the sunshine where we would have ideally been comfortable to stay at our short term villa but forced to find sanctuary from the winds which were powerful enough to lift & smash a heavy glass topped table on our 1st flr balcony. Being at the base of the valley is vulnerable for the exposed & most affected villas but much more acceptable for the acres of olive groves and bamboo wind breakers! Any return to the villa for our family would have to be weighed up against the potential of similar disruption to our quality time together. I hope this helps potential renters make an informed decision on the pluses and minus's of the villas location without disappointment. Kind Regards The Freemantle Family.

Alles hat super gepasst :-)
Vorab ein großes Lob an die Kommunikation mit der Hausvermietung!!! So gut bin ich schon lange nicht mehr vorab und während des Aufenthalts betreut worden :-) Also nochmal Vielen Dank dafür!! Jetzt zum Haus :-) Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt während unseres Aufenthalts :-) Es fehlte uns an nichts!! Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr gut in Schuss. Die Außenanlage mit dem Pool sind sehr gepflegt und ordentlich. Es hat alles sehr gut gepasst, die Schlafzimmer haben eine gute Größe, es gibt ausreichend Möglichkeiten seine Sachen zu verstauen. Die zwei Badezimmer sind sehr gepflegt! Der große Wohn-/Kochbereich im Erdgeschoss läd zum gemütlichen zusammen sitzen ein, und bietet viel Platz. Auf den Terrassen (oben und unten) kann man den Blick herrlich schweifen lassen und kann sogar ein bisschen das Meer sehen :-) Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, was für einen entspannten Aufenthalt perfekt ist. In der Nähe (ca. 5 Minuten mit dem Auto) findet man einen gut sortierten Supermarkt und jede Menge Restaurants zum Essen gehen. Uns hat es so gut gefallen, das wir beim nächsten Kreta Urlaub dieses Haus wieder mieten werden.

Heerlijk huis!
Het huis is heel fijn! Fantastische tuin met mooi uitzicht en het zwembad. Het hele huis is ruimtelijk en heeft een goede sfeer. We hebben s'avonds vaak binnen gegeten omdat het nog te koud was maar ook binnen is het heel gezellig. De eigenaar, Giannis, is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Plakias ligt heel dichtbij en ook allerlei gezellige strandjes. We hebben een super vakantie gehad op Kreta.

Wonderful holiday in April
We can fully recommend this lovely and well-equipped villa for a family holiday! We had a fantastic stay! The house is located ideally: hiking trails, remote beaches, tavernas, etc are in close distance. The villa owners kindly sent us useful information about local attractions - thanks again! Brilliant villa, fantastic views, wonderful pool - simply perfect!
The property was well presented with all modern features and came well equipped. We were met on arrival and shown around before opening a complimentry bottle of wine - perfect after a day's travelling! The swimming pool was perfect with a good number of shaded areas to escape the sun if it got to hot. The kitchen/living area was a good size and made for a comfortable stay. The two bathrooms were again a good size. There was a nice dining area outside close the purpose built BBQ area as well as a good sized roof terrace to sit and enjoy a drink watching the sunset over the sea and the amazing scenery. The villa owner also sent a very helpful email with useful information about local attractions and amenities. Likewise, we got a good deal on a hire car to explore the island. Overall we were very pleased with the villa and would definately stay again. James London
