Finch House är ett vackert hem designat med dig i åtanke. Från det ögonblick du går genom dörren kommer den öppna planlösningen och moderna bekvämligheter att du känner dig som hemma. Detta hem är tydligt inredda och erbjuder allt du behöver för att göra din vistelse allt du hoppats att det skulle bli. När du går in, har det öppna köket utsikt över mat- och vardagsrummet med utsikt över den 21 fot höga vedeldade stenpisen. Utanför vardagsrummet, men nära handlingen, är ett mysigt sitt- och nöjesområde, som har en väggmonterad 55 "smart-tv med Xfinity-kabel. Den första våningen befälhavaren erbjuder en king size-säng, byrå och nattställning. Det stora badrummet och garderoben ligger utanför sovrummet separerade av en vacker ladugård. Den första våningen har också enkel tillgång till ett pulverrum, öppen tvättstuga och garderob. Den andra våningen innehåller två stora sovrum med delat badrum. Sovrummet, med en drottningssäng, sitter med utsikt över bäcken och innehåller också dörrar i ladugårdsstil som kan öppnas för att titta ner på vardagsrummet och öppen spis eller stängas för avskildhet. Det andra sovrummet innehåller en tvilling över full våningssäng och en våningssäng i loftstil. Detta rum är inredet i en utomhustema i nationalparken och är utformad för att få äventyrsjuicer som flyter för både unga och gamla. Fortsätt ner i den öppna hallen förbi stora gamla ladugårdar till det öppna loftet som har utsikt över bäcken, vardagsrummet och matplatsen. Loftet har en väggmonterad 55 "smart-tv, soffa och stolar. Detta hem innehåller gott om brädspel, böcker och pussel för alla åldrar.

Really nice space. The feel of an open farmhouse, but with all the modern amenities you would expect in a newly constructed home. The wood burning fireplace was a nice touch, and the long communal dining table was a nice gathering point.The location is relatively close to downtown Ligonier, but it's far enough off the beaten path that everything is quiet and serene. Highly recommended.

Ligonier, PA House

Honestly one one the nicest rental houses we’ve ever stayed in. Immaculately clean, lots of room, and well stocked with anything you could need. The outdoor area has plenty of seating and the creek is very peaceful. 10 minute drive into town with great shopping and dining options. If you find yourself in this area I would highly recommend this house!

If you're considering this, don't hesitate

Finch House is a wonderful property. The location right beside a stream is peaceful. All of the light switches are labeled!! That is a level of detail much appreciated. The entire aesthetic of the home was perfect. I coild have sat for hours outside on the patio or the sheltered shed porch. Thank you John and Kathleen for such a pleasant stay. Definitely "exceptional".P.S. As someone who grew up in Westmoreland County, I have always loved the town of Ligonier!

What a beauty

Beautiful, charming house will not disappoint!

I stayed for a weekend with friends (middle-aged women), and we were all in love with this charming, beautifully decorated, thoughtfully appointed, and comfortable house. Great location - easy to find and close to the town center. Nice spaces to sit outside for coffee in the morning or drinks in the evening around a fire to enjoy the sounds of the creek. Inside spaces are exactly as pictured, and the house lacks for nothing - plenty of kitchen supplies, towels, games, books, and even a diffuser with the blow dryer, which was much appreciated by those of us with curls :). Comfortable beds, too. Communication with the hosts was excellent. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Family Ski Weekend

The home was perfect. Picture perfect view out the dining room off the patio of a babbling brook, which was so nice to listen too. Very clean, beautiful decorating, comfortable beds, lots of room, and everything you need to home cook meals. The location was great, a short scenic ride to Laural Mountain if you are staying there to ski.

Excellent family getaway

We couldn’t ask for a better location for a holiday family get together. The Finch House did not disappoint. This house was so beautifully decorated and so very clean. The private location along the creek was so beautiful and peaceful. John was a great host and was available for any questions. My family was so sad to leave. The cutest little stay in Ligonier PA

We spent 3 nights at this beautifully remodeled house. It was easy to find and was exactly as the VRBO ad said. Lots of space for everyone, it was clean, games for the kids, lots of room for entertaining. We will be back. Thankyou for making our trip a 5 Star trip and we can't wait to go back.

Fabulous Fall Getaway!

As always the Finch House was an amazing stay! From the open floor plan that provides ample space for our family to spread out and relax, to the comfortable beds, to the large dining table that allowed us to enjoy a meal together Finch House has it all. The weather was perfect so using the grill and having a fire outside by the babbling creek also added to the perfect fall getaway! Thank you for being great hosts and sharing your wonderful property!

Great stay

We had a wonderful time at John and Kathleen's home. The house was comfortable with lots of seating, plenty of kitchen equipment, a great layout and lots of natural light. Our favorite part was the outdoor space and the covered seating looking out over the creek. The location was an easy drive into town. Overall I would recommend this home for a relaxing family getaway.

Live Laugh Love Weekend Away

We stayed here for a relaxing bachelorette weekend away from everything. The backyard was gorgeous and we had so much fun on the creek, having campfires, and enjoying the outdoor patio. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms where we did not have any issues. Highly recommend.

New Years Celebration

This property was one of the nicest properties we have rented. It is very well stocked with just about everything you’d need. The owners have done a great job with the decor and making it feel very comfortable. Also, the owners were very responsive with any questions we had prior to our arrival. We were 6 adults together for the weekend to celebrate ringing in 2024. The accommodations were great. You could have more people and be very comfortable. We look forward to possibly renting the property again. We had a great time!

Awesome house

Beautiful home with awesome outdoor areas to relax or visit with loved ones. Our children loved the bunk beds and all the little touches that made them feel like they had their very own area. The house is very very well equipped and spacious but comfortable. Will definitely stay here again the the future.
