Check in process was good, room was clean, and my stay was nice. Furniture was simple, linens were updated, and walls are nicely painted. No frills or latest upgrades in esthetics if that’s what is important to you.

I like that it is convenient to the hospital. The parking lot is close to the hotel and well lit. Staff are very friendly and helpful. My room was clean, but is showing some age. My biggest complaint is that the silver top lock was broken and partly missing. As a woman traveling alone, I was very concerned that I was vulnerable to someone breaking into the room. I blocked the door and went to sleep. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. The shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water.

Small room is ok if you just plan to have a place to sleep. No refrigerator was a bit of a disappointment. Jimmy Johns restaurant was very close and convenient to walk to.

Excellent and affordable hotel near ECU Medical Center. Staff was friendly and courteous. Room was clean and had many amenities. Only negative was that both ice makers were out of service.

The properly needs a great deal of tender loving care. For starters vacuuming/shampooing the carpet in the hallways, very dirty! The rug in the elevator was absolutely filthy and reeked! Touch up paint all over. Furniture in room 220 need replacing. Overall bad but the $100 rate made tolerable for one night.

I had a poor stay here. I just needed a quiet basic hotel for the weekend. It felt like the management allows friends to hang out, loiter, and party here at night. It was loud at night; i heard people, music, etc. throughout the night. The elevator smelled like marijuana constantly and there were empty handles of vodka in the hallway 2 of the 3 mornings I was there. Breakfast is supposed to go until 10a on the weekends but they were actively shutting down around 9:30. When I asked to make a waffle or for anything extra, service was rude and frustrated. I will not be staying here again. I would not recommend to anyone.

We liked the affordability of our hotel. However, we had booked a standard suite and were placed in a room that was meant for wheelchair accessibility. The sink was too low, there was a tub bench in the shower, there was no bathroom storage or a place to put toothbrushes/toothpaste/hairbrushes. There was no shampoo, the carpet was stained, and the pillows looked like decorative pillows (much smaller than standard pillows). Our room was not cleaned at all during our weekend stay. We had to ask the front desk for blankets, towels, and shampoo. It was simply a horrible experience.

We arrived late at night and was promptly given our room, but, after a couple of attempts to open it, the desk clerk had to reassign us because the battery for the lock was dying. The room was clean, but since it was right outside the elevator and ice machine, it was a little noisy. It was a nice room, especially for the price. We stayed after returning our daughter back to college and would choose this hotel again.

Wyndham needs to check where they hang their signage. The towel rack in the bathroom had more rust than chrome on it. The bathroom door frame was also rust ridden. Excessive noise in the building til all hours of the night. Shower head leaked around the hose connection, no hair dryer but there was a holder for it on the wall. The only positive was the staff, they get 5 stars.

Pictures look better than property. Not sure why stuck in handicap room when hotel wasn't remotely close to full. Breakfast wasn't that great. Cereal, apples, bagels, and 3 peeled hard boiled eggs that were floating in some questionable water.

First off I’d like to Thank the front desk supervisor on upgrading our room. She’s amazing, personality and gracious. I came to North Carolina for a job interview and the hotel staff were helpful in finding places to eat , locations to see. I left my suit in the room rushing to get back on the road and they assured me it will be kept safe and shipped back to me. It’s extremely rare to meet people like this these days. Although the property was nice the rooms were small the bed was hard as a rock the shower was great except that it dripped all night long even though it's near a hospital the you can hear other people noises outside your room and not to mention traffic and noises from the outside it was an okay experience for the money

This is one of the worst place i have stayed at nasty rooms to the front desk people rude is saying it nicley. They also make you put a deposit down of 150$. Never had to do that before. Do not stay here

Hotel very noisy , ice machine on 3rd floor didn’t work, breakfast was terrible , no condiments for bagels , no milk for cereal . Very disappointing. The whole hotel smelled like weed and even saw an employee in the parking smoking weed before going back in to work . Very disappointed and don’t recommend. Spend the xtra $50 to stay somewhere better .

From the moment I checked in around 10:30pm the folk in the room next door was very noisy ALL NIGHT LONG even up to the moment when I got up a little before 6am to go home because I could not sleep and I was very tired and had to drive almost 2 hours home with absolutely no sleep. Hated the fact that I had to pay an incidental deposit fee of $150.00 for it to be a low scale hotel like Microtel. I will NEVER stay at a Microtel EVER AGAIN!!
