“Slept well. Good room for the price, but started to have some serious wear and pool was a little bit dirty. A few minor things broken in the room. Breakfast was ok! Thanks for a good stay”

“We were pleasantly surprised by this historic gem in the small town of Florence, SC. The best part was the in-hotel restaurant called “Victors.” The waiter was so warm and helpful in recommending food and drinks for the whole family. It enhanced our experience greatly!”

“I will say that the front desk staff was very kind and welcoming when I checked in. Unfortunately, the stay went downhill from there. The area surrounding the hotel felt pretty sketchy, and the room itself left a lot to be desired. Many things throughout the room just weren't in good shape. The cleanliness was a major issue—the floors were completely unswept and hadn't been vacuumed. The bathroom was the worst part; there was mysterious stuff all over the walls, and parts of the bathroom walls...

“Stopped over on a drive down from NY to FL. Was a nice place to stop - clean, comfortable room, friendly staff. Room was on the smaller size and not in the best location (first floor with a lot of activity in the AM - probably a luck of the draw). Would stay there again on my next trip.”

“Everything was just fine. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Cleaning detergent smell was a little strong in the room but guess that is much better than many other smells!! Everything was just fine and enjoyed the large room with the kitchen.”

“Looks like the owners are doing a lot of work on the property however, cleanliness is doable but not done. Our room was supposed to have 2 beds in it but the first room we got looked like someone was still in it. Unmade bed, clothes on chair and a huge fan in the middle of the room. Second room, single bed and ac wasn’t producing and it stunk. I had to show the clerk that I paid for a room with 2 beds and he finally said they didn’t have one available.
