• Our vacation rental is located in a two-family home. The apartment has been completely renovated and furnished with great attention to detail. Its elevated location offers a magnificent view of the rolling hills dotted with meadows and forests. Peace and quiet in a rural idyll, yet close to the royal seat of Greiz. The town is just a short drive or walk away and offers many attractions, including two castles, the Princely Greiz Park—one of the most beautiful landscape parks in Europe—and the old town with its Art Nouveau facades. A “Tschu Tschu” train, which allows you to take city tours and trips to the Waldhaus recreational area, has also been in operation since this year.
• Whether you’re seeking relaxation or an active vacation, the park and castle town of Greiz and its surroundings have something to offer everyone. The Elsterperlenweg trail runs along the White Elster River through the climatic health resort of Neumühe, past the Clodramühle—where you can tour a cheese factory—and on to Wünschendorf. There, you can take a boat ride on the river and visit the Fairy Tale Forest. A special treat for children. Hikers can explore the White Cross, the Pulvertum, and the Gasparinen Temple, enjoying views of the city’s rooftops and its unspoiled nature from various vantage points. On a walk just a few minutes’ walk from the vacation rental, you’ll have a magnificent view of the Saxon Vogtland region, including the Göltzschtal Bridge—the world’s largest brick bridge. The Horch Museum is located in neighboring Zwickau. It provides information about the origins of the automotive industry in Saxony.
• The Zeulenroda Dam (approx. 17 km away) and the Pöhl Dam (approx. 25 km away) are worth a visit, and not just on hot summer days. In the summer, swimming fun is guaranteed. But the local outdoor pool and indoor swimming pool are also great options for a welcome change of pace.



Vacation Rental:

• The vacation rental consists of a bedroom, a living room, a small kitchen, and a bathroom with a shower and toilet. The bedroom has a large double bed with two nightstands, a three-door wardrobe, and a dresser. The living room is furnished with a sofa bed, a sideboard, a display cabinet, and a round dining table made of simple, stylish wooden furniture, as well as a large flat-screen TV. The kitchenette features a built-in electric stove with an oven, a dishwasher, and a refrigerator. An electric kettle, coffee maker, and toaster are provided. There is also a small table with two chairs. The bathroom, which features a shower, sink, and toilet, includes a hair dryer, a makeup mirror, and a trash can. Towels, dish towels, and hand soap are provided for your use.



Check-in is available from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and check-out is from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
