“Bra läge om man har bil, annars är det för långt att gå till Akureyri. Fint rum med bra utsikt. Incheckningen var lite skum då det bara låg ett kuvert med vårat namn på disken när vi kom dit. Fanns inget varmvatten när vi skulle duscha, gjorde inte så mycket för våran del, vi stannade bara en natt. Fanns ett nummer att ringa om man ville nått, vilket vi gjorde när vi glömde nyckeln på rummet, och då kom det en och låste upp direkt. Kändes som vi var ensamma på hotellet.”

“This cottage where amazing. It where really clean and had a lot of room. As a family of five there where no problem feeling at home here. The staff where rely friendly and helpful. The best part where the location and the hot tube. Soaking in hot water watching the beautiful mountains is an unbeatable way to end the day.”

“We arrived in the evening, driving through clouds unable to see anything. We awoke to find we were surrounded 360 degrees by gorgeous mountains! We were awed!It was a bit of a drive on a dirt road but well worth it. The house was great. As described. The hot tub was an added treat. Lots of hiking and waterfalls everywhere too!Everything was great and communications were easy. Thank you ”

“We booked a few nights at the Hidden Cottage and simply loved the place! The cottage is located not far from a village, in a pretty countryside area. The house had everything you needed and the cottage was very clean. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are comfortable. My 13 year old son particularly appreciated the soccer field we had access to!  I recommend this place during your stay in Iceland!”

“It’s a beautiful house in a new neighborhood. The location was beautiful, right on the fjord, only 10 minutes from downtown Akureyri. We cooked one night, pretty well stocked kitchen, could use a few potholders. We couldn’t figure out the cold plunge, but the hot tub and sauna were great. Views from the hot tub are amazing. Our only complaint was there were a lot of flies, no screens on windows, and it’s prime fly season apparently. No kidding, we killed more than 100 in 2 days. A fly...
