Escape to a tranquil retreat at this 2-bedroom house at beautiful Addis Acres in Griffin. Unwind in the fantastic living room with a cozy sofa bed and large smart TV, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Enjoy the serene atmosphere of the king and full beds in the bedrooms. Pamper yourself in the 2 bathrooms equipped with showers and hair dryers. Experience what Griffin has to offer with a stay at Ruth's Cottage!

Take in the majestic sunrise overlooking the water on the back deck while enjoying a cup of coffee or tea. In the evening, turn on the festive string lights and fire up the grill on the deck as you kick back with friends or family and reflect on memories you will cherish.

Make sure you don't forget your fishing gear! You will not want to leave without catching some bass, bream or crappie from the pond! Take time to enjoy the kayaks and paddle all over the pond, taking in all the relaxing scenery. Life jackets provided, but you will need to bring your own fishing poles/gear.

All new furniture/appliances/furnishings/bedding/linens. Secluded, yet convenient to restaurants, shopping, entertainment. Baby care essentials provided (pack n play, high chair, booster seat). Pet friendly. Wifi and designated work space provided.

Kitchen stocked with cooking essentials! Dishes (service for 8), glassware, utensils, pots and pans, bakeware and grill tools set. Small appliances include Keurig coffee maker (cup or pot), tea kettle, blender, microwave. Air purifier in living room. Fireplace in living room has electric insert - firewood is only used and needed for outdoor fire pit (we make every effort to provide firewood).

This home is one of 3 homes located at Addis Acres, an 80 acre tract with an 8 acre pond. If you have a larger group, please also look at Shepherd's Lodge, which is just across the pond from Ruth's Cottage. The Lodge sleeps 12. We also have Joyce's Place, which also sleeps 12.

Entry to house is non contact by using the smart lock on the door. You will be given your own code for the lock. The lock does have a camera on the front that faces the outside.

Pet Policy: Up to 2 dogs are allowed, but dogs must be under 50lbs. each. There is a $100 pet cleaning fee per dog. Dogs must be kept off furniture. Please clean up after your dog outside - there are pet waste bags mounted to the deck railing as you go up walkway to home. Thank you!

Please be aware: check-in time is 3pm; check-out time is 10am. Smoking/vaping is not permitted anywhere on the premises. All guests will be required to sign rental agreement/guest waiver provided by owner. Prior to your arrival, you will be provided secure entry instructions by owner.


For your safety, smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, fire extinguishers, first aid kits, insect repellant and flashlights are provided.

Propane tank provided for grill. Tank will be full upon guest arrival. Should tank be depleted during your stay and more propane needed, it will be guest's responsibility to refill.

Limited supplies of shampoo, conditioner, soap, laundry detergent, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, garbage bags, coffee, and tea are provided.

Damage Waiver: For your convenience, a nonrefundable damage waiver fee is included in your reservation, eliminating the need for a security deposit. This waiver covers accidental damage up to $1,500 if you let owner know of damage before your departure.
