It is a beach house! It is perfect for what it is. It is not fancy. But it was comfortable for our family of 6! Kitchen worked well for us. It was hotter than usual for the Grover Beach area. Thankful for screened windows, fans and a fair air conditioner! A short walk to the beach. Were able to see a launch from Vandenberg! Great parks for our 3 yr old grandchild, were nearby! Host, Jon were quick to reply when we reached out. Couldn't have been better! Also had left us an unexpected desert treat!

Very close to the beach and comfortable to stay in. Plenty of towels and sheets and toiletries. Very rapid responses with the landlord when I asked questions and everything was easy to handle.

Unfortunately it smelled bad and even after we aired it out, it still had a terrible smell. The pillows were awful and fortunately they brought us new ones the day we checked in. The floors were dirty. My husband cleaned them twice and still our feet were very dirty when we walked in the house. The owners were nice.

This was the perfect base for our family for Cal Poly Graduation weekend. Good location but not smack dab in the middle of the SLO madness. We enjoyed our coffee every morning on the deck, and hosted two epic family dinners in the backyard at the big table. Our host even brought over an extra BBQ when he heard that we were hosting a larger dinner later in the week. He didn't have to do that and it was so appreciated! Even the family dogs were comfortable with space to roam. The cushions on the deck chairs could be refreshed, they are a bit worn. Overall charming and comfortable.

We were in town for a few nights with our boys to visit Cal Poly and enjoy the Central California beaches. We chose this house based on the description and reviews and man were they spot on. Super comfy classic beach cottage with unique layout. Walkable to great restaurants and beach but also close to the freeway for exploring. Comfortable beds! My teen son loved the somewhat detached sun room that served as his bedroom. Highly recommend and we’ll be back for sure.

Jon & Melany were great hosts! Location was superb and the classic beach bungalow feel of the rental was on point. The minor items that came up were addressed swiftly and the working with us on a later departure couldn’t have gone smoother or been more accommodated. Overall the location has been saved for future family get togethers for years to come!

Booked property for family because a family wedding was taking place in SLO. There was plenty of room for a big family dinner on Friday night with others that live in Grover Beach.

Perfect place

House was as advertised and cozy made the trip relaxing and a lasting memory of a great time with family and amzingly friendly and helpful hosts . Look forward to more adventures at their properties
