Nice old style cottage close to the Baltic Sea

Tre hus, varav två med modern standard och flera kakelugnar. Huvudbyggnaden har ett stort modernt kök i gammaldags stil innehållande både vedspis och öppen spis. Två mycket pittoreska och smakfullt inredda gästhus med många rum och sängplatser. Fem minuters promenad till Gryts brygga med båtplatser. Nära till bl a golfbana, Eköns havs- och klippbad, Gryts Varv med skärgårdsrestaurang, Fyrudden med affär och reguljärtrafik till Harstena.

Three houses, two of them with modern standard and several tiled ovens. The main building has a large modern kitchen in old-fashioned style containing both wood burning stove and fireplace. Two very picturesque and tastefully furnished guesthouses with many rooms and beds. Five minutes walk to Gryt's dock with boats. Close to golf course, Eköns sea and rock bath, Gryts Varv with archipelago restaurant. Patio with barbeque grill. Fyrudden with shopping and regular transport to Harstena.
An ideal place for a multi generations holiday.

Drei Häuser, zwei davon mit modernem Standard und mehreren Kachelöfen. Das Hauptgebäude hat eine große, moderne Küche im altmodischen Stil mit Holzofen und Kamin. Zwei sehr malerische und geschmackvoll eingerichtete Gästehäuser mit vielen Zimmern und Betten. Fünf Minuten zu Fuß zu Gryts Dock mit Booten. In der Nähe des Golfplatzes, Eköns Meer und Felsenbad, Gryts Varv mit Archipel Restaurant. Patio mit Grillplatz. Fyrudden mit Einkauf und regelmäßigem Transport nach Harstena.
Ein idealer Ort für einen mehrjährigen Urlaub.

Liebevoll bewirtschaftetes Ensemble von schönen Häusern

Hans und Lena sind sehr gastfreundlich und herzlich. Der Aufenthalt in ihren Häusern war wunderschön. Die Häuser sind gemütlich und vollständig ausgestattet, super Matratzen, Küchen und Bäder funktionieren einwandfrei. Wunderschöne Atmosphäre. Sehr schöne Badestelle in der Nähe, tolle Wanderungen sind möglich. Bootsverleih in der Nähe.

Perfect accomodation for a multi family holiday

We have spent our 2 weeks holiday here with 3 families. Our group consisted of 5 adults and 6 older children between the ages of 13 and 18 years. ​ On arrival we were taken care of by Hans and Lena, the owners. Really very nice and helpful people. Hans has given many tips about all kinds of things in the area.​ ​ The houses are in a very quiet area. From the outside the 3 houses are still in the old authentic style, but inside, especially the bathrooms and the kitchen, are very nicely modernized. In the smallest house (the mountain house) there is no water, so also no toilet or kitchen. The kitchen in the middle house (the shop house) was closed at the time of our stay due to renovation work, but we had been informed about that in advance. The fridge with freezer was placed in the hall so that it could be used anyway.​ ​ The showers in the store house and the main house are both equipped with thermostatic taps and beautiful glass shower enclosures. There is a washing machine in the bathroom of the main house. The kitchen of the main house includes a.o. an authentic wood burning stove, but also an induction cooker, a large refrigerator, a microwave and an electric oven. In the main house there is also a dining room with a very large table, where we could eat with 11 people. Crockery and the like was also sufficiently available.​ ​ In the main house there is a large plasma TV with AppleTV, and in all 3 houses WIFI with a good fast internet connection was present, even for use by 11 people at the same time.​ ​ Outside there are no less than 3 terraces with garden furniture and 2 barbecues available.​ ​ The area around Gryt is a beautiful archipelago area with many islands and harbors. We also visited several beautiful cities and places in the area, such as Västervik, Söderköping (famous icecreams at Smulstron Stallet) and Norrköping (beautiful waterfalls in the city), and we also made a long walk in Norre Kvill National Park. Small disadvantage is perhaps that from Gryt you always have to go back to the main road (the E22), and that is every time the same drive for 20 minutes.​ ​ This was our fourth holiday in a row in Sweden, each time in a different area. This time we have seen a completely different part of Sweden, with its archipelago east coast. A very nice area, with a nice mix of nature and cities. In this way, there is plenty to see and experience for the whole family, both youngsters and the old. We all have certainly enjoyed our stay.

A great place for a large family in a truly wonderful landscape

We've hade a wonderful two weeks at Evelund in an extraordinary family retreat. The hosts Lena & Hans have been very welcomming at arrival and helpful with advise anytime during our stay at the houses. We enjoyed every day in a very personal, large and more than fully equipped trio of houses. We did lots of hiking, swimming, canoeing and cycling during the days and losts of cooking and barbequeing on the grounds in the evenings to stargazing at night. A great place for a large family in a truly wonderful landscape.

Endlich wieder in Schweden!

Zu Zehnt waren wir bei Lena und Hans Österman zu Gast und haben uns dort sehr wohlgefühlt. Der Kontakt mit den Gastgebern war problemlos und sehr hilfreich! Die Häuser und das Grundstück bieten viel Komfort und ggf. Möglichkeiten zum Ausweichen. Die unweit gelegene Badestelle war ein Traum. Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Urlaub.

All best in East-Sweden

We spend two weeks with 9 adults and two children. The place with rooms in three houses were enough for us. The ground ist large and the neighbours friendly. The contact to the hirer was very uncomplicated and much friendly too. The Houses were very clean and the nature beautiful. I Think we´ll try again to spend there.

Ein wunderbarer Urlaubsort

Wir waren mit 8 Erwachsenen und 4 Kindern in Gryt - für eine große Gruppe sind die 3 typisch schwedischen Häuser und 4 Terrassen einfach perfekt! Genug Rückzugsraum für jeden, aber auch Platz, um mit der ganzen Familie um einen Tisch zu sitzen. Die Häuser sind prima ausgestattet mit allem, was man braucht, und sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Hans und Lena haben uns sehr freundlich empfangen und uns mit vielen guten Hinweisen versorgt - für jede Frage ansprechbar. In der wunderschönen Schärenlandschaft kann man den ganzen Tag draußen verbringen: Wanderwege, Kajakverleih, Badestelle... Wir haben die Zeit genossen und kommen gerne wieder!!!
