The little train opposite the Arcachon tourist office will give you plenty of ideas for things to discover and a great overview of the town! At lunchtime, let yourself be tempted by an oyster tasting in one of the Bassin's oyster ports - the port of Gujan is waiting for you - or at the market in La Teste or Arcachon (bring a container if you'd like to have them opened, and don't go too late for this request), then set off to conquer the majestic Dune du Pyla! If you feel like taking to the open sea, there are regular boat shuttles from the Thiers jetty in Arcachon to Cap Ferret (it's best to book online), Ile aux oiseaux and the famous cabanes tchanquées! The arguin bank, transparent water, paradise on earth! A trip down the Leyre to the Le Teich ornithological park, where you can choose to be accompanied by a guide or paddle your own kayak!
