The home was clean, well maintained, and exactly as pictured. Unfortunately, our experience with the rental company (Kaiser) was disappointing. The required app for check-in and communication didn’t work properly and was essentially only useful for basic messaging. We requested (and planned to pay for) pool heat in advance, but arrived to a cold, dirty pool. The heat was later turned on and the pool cleaned, but we lost two days of use. A Big Green Egg is provided, but no charcoal—if this were a gas grill, would guests be expected to bring their own propane? The kitchen also lacked basics that are typically standard at similar price points: no extra kitchen trash bags, no coffee filters for the coffee maker, and no basic cleaning supplies for the stove/counters. A small starter set of dish soap and dishwasher pods was provided, but it was skimpy for a 7-night stay. There was no advance communication clarifying what was or wasn’t included or what supplies we’d need to bring. We also had mail sent to the property address while traveling, only to have it returned as undeliverable because the property has no mailbox—another avoidable inconvenience if disclosed up front. Responses from the company felt impersonal (generic emails from “Kaiser Vacations”), and I would not recommend booking with them.
