Be sure to check a map!

Shame on me for not checking a map before reserving! The address is Gulf Shores, but this property is actually almost to Fort Morgan, meaning a 30-minute drive to the nearest grocery store and most restaurants. Luckily, I’d packed all we needed for our short stay. The beach is gorgeous, and the pools are great. This unit is quite tiny, and the photos are a bit misleading. There’s enough room to walk around the queen bed, but just barely. There is one room that is living, eating & kitchen (no dishwasher, single sink, 3’ of prep area). We were comfortable, but it’s a shame that the furnishings were cheap to begin with and now are very worn.

Furniture very dated and dirty. Property needs to be deep cleaned. There was so much dust on the air purifier and around the doorway by the ac exchange. The sponge intended for dishes was already used and smelled like cleaner. The grounds were GREAT no complaints there.

Nice last minute stay

We booked a last minute trip is was in a nice area and room was clean and well put together with the essential however we couldn't get connected to the wifi but it wasn't a big deal for our two night stay. Overall enjoyed!

Very nice vacation

Great little condo equipped with everything to make an enjoyable vacation. Easy access for packing and unpacking luggage, sassy bass is a 30 yard walk away. Will definitely be back.

We enjoyed our stay! It was the perfect location, right next to the pool and close to the boardwalk that goes to the beach. The host was available when needed and responded right away. The washer and dryer was also right across from our room. That was perfect.

Small but Well Suited

The condo was just as advertised. Our family of four slept quite comfortably and had everything we needed. The room was mere steps to three pools and onsite restaurant. It was only about a 3 minute walk down the boardwalk to the beach. Sand was white and water clear. Communication about the accommodations was easy and clear. All pertinent information was provided. We would definitely consider coming back.

Short vacay

This was a great place to stay for our 2 nights with my friend and her 2 daughters. The bunk was perfect for the teenager. Sassy Bass was amazing, as usual. The last break before school started and the water was clear and beautiful!!! We love Ft. Morgan!

Excellent home away from home!

Nice condo for our family, everything was clean as described and very accessible to everything in the resort. First floor was nice as well as the pool and laundry being right outside the condo when we used it. We had a great stay!! Jackie answered all the questions that I had, great communication!!

Good location but stinky condo

The pros: location was great, condo was right on the beach and this first floor unit overlooks the water. The layout was fine - a little tight for our family of five, but manageable for just the weekend. The beach was great - the water had lots of seaweed, but it’s really just the time of year. But it wasn’t crowded and we really enjoyed it. There was a great restaurant in the condo right next door (walking distance) and we drove down to Tacky Jacks for dinner one night (there’s a location in Fort Morgan about 5 miles away). Jackie, the manager, was also very responsive with her messages and calls, which I really appreciated. Cons: the condo was so incredibly stinky -like in an overwhelming way. It was like rotten food/mildew/something dead and it did not go away the entire weekend…. We tried to air it out and sprayed as much room spray as we could manage, but it was truly awful. Jackie responded right away when I sent her a message and said they had just sprayed for bugs so maybe that was the problem – but it did not smell like pesticide. We were SO glad that we were only there for a weekend and not longer - thankfully the weather was perfect so we were able to stay outside at the beach all day on Saturday. Jackie did refund part of our cleaning deposit which I truly appreciated (& she was extremely apologetic). But it was a really tough trip. (Also, I was glad I read the reviews beforehand about the lack of outlets so I brought a couple of power strips with us.)
