Gulf Village in Gulf Shores located directly on the beach along the beautiful Alabama gulf coast. Your balcony delivers great views of the beach & sparkling emerald water. Prime location on scenic West Beach. Only a short drive to many attractions and walking distance to a convenience store & restaurant. Low-mid density complex directly on the beach and close to town!

Gulf Village 201 is a 1BR/1BA, 2nd floor vacation rental situated at the north end of the building. On-site amenities include a gulf front pool & a second pool located with the villas directly across the street.

This gulf side condo is fully tiled with modern updates - check out the shiplap wall behind the TV! The balcony, right outside the front door, is a private use area with plenty of seating. BBQ grilling area on-site. Cooking in is a breeze in your kitchen area with all appliances(No Dishwasher). Enjoy your beach side retreat! Books & Games available and a pump to inflate beach items.

Washer/Dryer facility available on-site on the floor of your unit! Lounge indoors to watch your favorite show on the new 50 inch SMART TV in living room - stream Netflix, Amazon, HULU, and other using your accounts!

Parking for 2 cars is available on-site, permit required $37/veh - guest may purchase up to 2.

Everything was fine except the pull out sofa. The issue was corrected very quickly. Also, the gate to the beach was broken so we had to go to another one.

Overall Great Vacay…just a few things

Overall Experience:We had a wonderful vacation and thoroughly enjoyed our time at the property.Location – 10/10The location was absolutely perfect. Being right on the beach was the highlight of our stay and made for a truly relaxing experience.Cleanliness – 5/10While the unit was not in unacceptable condition, (which is why we didn’t raise any issues during our stay.) However, it could benefit from a thorough deep cleaning. The baseboards appeared to have built-up dirt, there were visible spills on some walls, and the AC unit vents had a noticeable layer of dust and hair. Private Beach Access – 6/10The private beach access gate was problematic. The code often didn’t work on the first attempt and required multiple tries—sometimes up to 7 or 8. Additionally, the handle on the beach-facing side was broken, which made entering from the beach side particularly difficult and frustrating, often taking up to 10 minutes —definitely something that could be improved.Bed Comfort – 1/10Unfortunately, the comfort of the sleeping arrangements was a major drawback. The bed was extremely firm to the point of being uncomfortable, and the pull-out sofa was also difficult to sleep on. We would recommend bringing a mattress topper if possible.

Great location

Nice clean and met our needs. AC didn’t really reach bedroom and the walkway to beach needs to be cleaned - weeds, excess sand, broken gate handle need to be addressed. None dealbreakers but enjoyed stay very much. Didn’t have any contact with property mgr.

Anniversary stay

I cleaned the top of the bathroom cabinet trim. Much dirt and grime. Crums inside of the oven . Stains on built in drawers in the bedroom, chipped and dented furniture. Light didn’t work over the sink. Hair on the shower wall. Hair and dirt on the bathroom floor, Strings of hair on the sofa sleeper . I did a lot of cleaning although charged a cleaning fee.Dent on the fridge, So much grime and dirt buildup in the corners and floor trim. I was told it’s an old building. The beach was beautiful.

Lots of ups and downs.

The location is great (great access to the beach) and they responded to my communications promptly... however the condo is not very clean or well kept and the listing is misleading. The beds are extremely hard and for me uncomfortable and there is NO elevator even though it says there is in the listing.

Sister getaway

The condo worked for us but was disappointed with the cleanliness. Off property check-in packet was a bit of a hassle but we had read that in a previous review! Location was nice, less busy! Our main complaint would be there was not an elevator! We missed that issue when booking the property. We still definitely enjoyed our trip .

First night the ceiling in the room leaked water on us in the bed but the problem was fixed within a couple day The front door door knob fell off but I was able to fix it myself other than that everything was good

Cozy place

We enjoyed the place. Our only issue was the check in process where we needed to pick up the key and welcome package at another location. It was dark and hard to see but it worked out. It may have been easier if we did this during daylight hours but it was hard to navigate in the dark. It didn't change the way we like the place and would stay again.

Room not clean it was filthy in some areas such as windows and I picked up a pill that appeared to be IBprofin out of the rug at bathroom sink. and dishes were dirty Toilet was loose

Extra bed in the couch was broken

We got to the property just fine. And it was just like the pictures. There was some dust bunnies in the ceiling, but it was decently clean. The only complaint I had was that when we pulled out the couch bed, some screws were missing and it would not lay flat. Our young children managed to sleep on it, but when I contacted the management team about it, they said thanks for the information and they take it seriously. But there was no follow up on it. Adults could definitely not sleep on it. The beach was beautiful and the rest of our experience was great. I’m just not for sure how they didn’t know about how the bed was so rickety.
