Spektakulära viken mot viken i Gated Community

Välkommen till vårt vackra fritidshus, 'Bama Breeze'. Det ligger i The Dunes, en familjevänlig och privat, gated community som ligger i Fort Morgan-området i Gulf Shores. Detta vackert inredda och fullt möblerade hus på 2600 kvadratmeter har 5 sovrum och 3. 5 badrum och har plats för upp till 14 gäster bekvämt.

Utsikten över viken och spektakulära solnedgångar över den skyddade djurlivsmiljön väntar dig från tre balkonger. Nyligen renoverat har detta hem både sovrum och badrum på 1: a och 2: a våningen och 3 sovrum ytterligare. Det finns två kungar och 3 drottningar och 5 enkelsängar. Det stora köket är fullt möblerat och matplatsen har plats för upp till 14. Tvättmaskiner finns på både 1 och 2 våningen.

Ta bara med dina matvaror och en bra attityd så kommer detta hem att ta hand om resten. Några av de tillhandahållna bekvämligheterna inkluderar sängkläder, handdukar, internet, telefon, satellit-TV, DVD-spelare, böcker och spel / X-box. Det finns parkering för 5 bilar.

En vacker gemensam pool ligger bara några steg utanför ytterdörren och den lugna stranden ligger bara en kort promenad. Dunes community innehåller 2 utomhuspooler, 2 bubbelpooler, en inomhuspool och ett fitnesscenter.

Wonderful Beach House

We took family vacation for 14 , kids and grandkids. The house was more than big enough to accommodate us. Loved all the bedroom combinations and big living space. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots, pans even crockpots. We really just needed the groceries. Extra fridge and ice maker were huge pluses. There were plenty of beach items as well so we didn’t need to pack any. We even got dolphin shows nearly every day at the beach. We will definitely book here again when we plan the next Gulf Shores vacation.

Enjoyed our stay

We had a total of 12 people, 8 adults and 4 kids and the house accommodated us all very nicely. You can’t really tell from the pictures on the website but on the main floor there is a master bedroom room with a full bath. Outside the master bedroom is the kitchen and a 1/2 bath and living room. The second floor has three bedrooms, and two full baths. The 3rd floor is a single room with no doors and has 2 twin beds and a queen bed. The downstairs is a large storage room with a refrigerator and ice maker and plenty of chairs and beach toys along with a wagon to carry items to the beach. The pool was very nice and was just a short walk. It is a little walk to the beach but if needed you can drive and park right at the walkway which we did several times with the small kids. The owners supplied the toilet paper and dishwashing liquid, dishwasher soap, hand soap, garbage bags, laundry detergent and a roll of paper towels. There were also plenty of spices and coffee filters. The kitchen is well equipped. There is a regular coffee maker along with a K-cup brewer and a blender for mixing drinks. We did have an issue with the air conditioning but the owners were very responsive and had it fixed within two hours. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Family trip

The house was in the perfect location and great beach access. Loved the extra fridge and ice maker downstairs. There was plenty of room for all of our guests, the beds were comfortable and extra fans in every room. Our family loved our stay. Cons: The back deck was in great need of a face lift as well as several chairs. There were a ton of loose, rotten and broken boards, you really had to watch your step. It looked like several could break at any moment. As well as a few of the chairs. The jack and jill bathroom upstairs, the doors wouldnt shut properly. We would still stay here again, it was overall a good stay.

Needs maintenance

We enjoyed our stay but the house does need quite a bit of maintenance. I was able to give the manager a heads up on several items as we checked in but several more things came up as the week went on that need attention.

We had a wonderful time!!

My family LOVES the Fort Morgan area for its distance from the hustle and bustle of Gulf Shores while still being just a 30 minute drive to dinner if we desire. We had a few hiccups on the first day but Brian and Craig were very quick to respond and get things taken care of! My kids loved the pool and it was just a quick walk from the house! The beach was a quick walk too! The neighborhood was great and even had an ice cream truck come around which my kids loved! Overall we had a great time and hope to return!

Great House for a Big Family

This house was perfect for our family. Lots of space and little extras for little ones (step stools in bathrooms and all the beach toys and floaties in the downstairs storage). Our host was quick to respond to any questions we had during the week. We thought the location (far end of Ft Morgan Rd) might be inconvenient, but the quiet neighborhood and beach access turned out to be a bonus. It was easy to plan a day to drive in to Gulf Shores/Orange Beach and then enjoy the rest of our time at the “Bama Breeze” beach & pool (very short walk).

Wonderful large family vacation

Space was WONDERFUL for our large family with everyone having plenty of space and sleeping accommodations. Dehumidifiers on property were an added bonus that kept it cool and dry! An extra fridge downstairs was also great for drinks. Some concerns were the cleanliness, which really is no reflection on the owner. We had some sheets and towels that were pretty stained. Again, I believe this reflects the cleaning people. We would absolutely consider staying here again, but maybe bring our own sheets and towels.

When we arrived the basement door was unlocked. That’s how we got in. Code did not work initially d/t having to pull knob up not down.. beds were either urine stained or full of crumbs we washed sheets & lysoled beds. A/c did not work upstairs 2 visits by repairman fixed it. No hot water til 4 days in when plumber arrived. Owner was responsive but needs some maintenance

Great Pivot

This review is about owner Bill Masterson. He rocked! We were at mile marker 8 on Ft Morgan Road when it became clear that there was a problem with the reservation. Within 15 minutes he had us in the other half of the rental after speaking to the owner. By the time my van pulled in the driveway just off mile marker 2, the problem was solved. Our party of 12 was VERY relieved and the kids were in the pool 20 minutes later. The house was in the perfect location, Fort Morgan is a sleepy area of the Gulf which is exactly how we like it. I can't say enough about how this owner took care of our situation. I would book with him again!

Good Trip

We really enjoyed our stay on the property, the only real draw back was the distance from the beach front, however, there was the ability to load everything in the vehicle and park and unload fairly close. The duplex was very spacious and the kids absolutely loved that they had their own space. It is a place we would stay again.

Wonderful family location

Location is fantastic. Close to the beach and close to the pool. The bedroom layout was perfect for our family! House was well-equipped with cookware and plenty of beach accessories. Brian was responsive when we reached out to him with questions/issues. Only non-perfect things were — some deck boards and rail need some TLC (I know saltwater is hard on them) and the third bedroom did not have cable tv or internet access. Would love to bring the family back here!

Family vacation

We had an awesome time!! The house was perfect. There were tons of boogie boards for the kids and beach toys. There was even a great wagon to cart things to the beach!! The extra ice machine in the basement was a huge bonus! Thank you for a perfect family vacation !!!!

Overall disappointment

Owner stated he switched cleaning companies but not local so couldn’t monitor their work. Floors were sandy throughout living area. No extra toilet paper and some bathrooms had no hand soap We had 11 people staying there and the only garbage bag we had was in the can Owner sent $$$ for supplies but inconvenient as stores were 45 minute round trip AC had trouble keeping up with weather conditions and ceiling vents dripped water in living area - there were several dehumidifiers running that we emptied several times a day- clearly a problem Despite two grills being available owner did not provide propane or charcoal… was surprised we wanted to use them An upstairs bathroom had a DampRid bucket full of moldy water … not a healthy situation there The property was nice and location was great but every day something new popped up

Off the Beaten Path

We loved the location of this property... away from the busy areas but close enough that you could easily drive to whatever you needed. The beach was very clean and just a short walk. There were plenty of beach items that we were able to use during our stay. The kitchen was pretty well equipped for a vacation home. The living room and dining areas were comfortable for a large number of people. Plenty of showers and toilets!!

Great Beach Getaway

Large and comfortable. Plenty of room for large family or group to just hangout. Great large kitchen, eating space (2 tables and bar for seating). 5 Bedrooms very accommodating and ideal for me, my husband and our three children with their spouse and their 2 children each (total 6 children). Beach was a little bit of a walk but we handled it fine even with the 10 month old baby and all the stuff we needed. Loved the beach except for jelly fish. Loved night time crab hunting.

Wonderful Quiet Location

The location to the beach was just a short walk that helped my FIL get to and from easily. Very quiet neghborhood. The layout and space of the home was perfect for our group and we didn't feel on top each other. Few minor hiccups but were taken care of by property owner.
